Great ambiance, warmth & helpful services, great collection of food & nearby kuih muih, affordability. My favourites- mee siam with generous with huge prawns; lamb curry gentle & tender, great vege meals; Don't forget to try their kuih muih & desserts especiallysago gula melaka and .... teh tarik (excellent coz not too nice!)

The best thing concerning the restaurant was the music. Tried their mee siam that was hugely disappointing. A bland stirfry of anaemic whitened meehoon with a wet carrot salad at the top. There is no piquant tomato bottom and to be honest tasted as if produced byan amateur. The asamboi with lime was appropriate but did not flavor freshly produced though it could have been. I'll however return for another stop by at be fair for another thing. Finally, it was overvalued and the waitress had been coughing into food and didn't wear a mask. Wellness check needed right here!!! Awful!! Have had a negative cough since search for a week ago.

Came here for an extremely early lunch, therefore we were the only real ones within the Restaurant. Foods was typical, and the B/Pepper Prawn had not been quite what we'd expected or that which was proven on the Menu. Pretty good, but not excellent either. At RM109.85 for just two persons, rather costly lunch.

I love this location and the meals were great. My preferred is usually curry lamb, curry seafood mind, sambal paku pakis & nasi ulam. Excellent sambal belacan to opt for ulam. Local kuih can be delicious. A bit pricey that you cannot afford weekly.Best for entertaining guest from overseas. Friendly staff and wonderful atmosphere. Good oldies songs.

We visited as several 7 adults upon Aug. 19, 2018. If you browse the reviews, you will discover that there exists a design suggesting Alibaba & Nyonya at Mid Valley is pricey and the meals mediocre. I am in addition pattern becausethat restaurant is becoming our family's reference stage if we reflect on eateries which are overly costed or serve food that's not enjoyable. Despite making desk reservations, it took a lot more than an hr to get seated because of mistakes by the eating place staff (man in a suit). So, an extended waiting period, bland foods and high costs means we were robbed of period, enjoyment and money. Do yourself the favour and try somewhere else if you are in the mood once and for all authentic Nyonya cooking.

It gets the Peranakan ambience (the tiles, home windows, colourful floral tiffin carriers etc). However, meals wise it is extremely mediocre but costs are way too higher for that sort of food quality. Definitely not worth choosing this Food quality vs the purchase price. Not recommended.

Service staff keyed within the incorrect orders n didn't bother to rectify nor apologize. We ordered just 2 drinks and 2 dessert meals n the wait period was almost one hour. We'd to chase following the staff for the proper order. NEVER goingback once again. Spend your cash elsewhere. The Penang cafe nearby might be a better bet

Stylish home design with colourful and genuine splashes of Peranakan ambience (mural paintings, Tiffany-style lamps as a good addition, ornamental blinds and wood frameworks, floral tiles and pottery). Service really was forthcoming, excellent. We got our foods in under 15 minutes. All disheswere served hot and had special person spice ranges and flavours. The crispy popiah we'd, had been delightfully crunchy and the vegetables inside were an ideal mixture of springy and juicy. The sambal that people got using them was a prosperous mixture of fruity and spicy and paired nicely with the savoury tinge of our beginner. The pucuk paku worked nicely with the mains that people had ordered: Hot Egg Tofu and the Nynonya Mee Siam. Refreshing, albeit only a tad overweight on the Belacan. Maybe balance may be the keyword right here. All dishes had been so well-well balanced and organized that some will dsicover them uninteresting. But we (Malaysian and European palate) went right here and both liked the fact that not one of the flavours has been overpowering, each of them got the opportunity to unfold and shock us. So for all of us it had been worth it, despite the fact that the prices had been a tad steeper. Noticed that the prior reviews weren't that great, making me wonder if employees or administration or the prepare got changed... We even surely got to consider some sweets away free of charge (the kuih dadar... we're able to have eaten a whole stack rather than gotten exhausted, the juiciness, folks, the juiciness)!
