Alexis at the gardens fails terribly with its vision of serving inventive cuisine of the highest quality. Don't get me wrong, the food was beautifully crafted and well presented, but the taste lackluster and bland, flavorless is their speciality and the food lacks so many elements that usually generates a sense of satisfaction. Price? Prepare to be robbed, and their promise of impeccable service, not quite there yet. I have to agree the decor was somewhat stylish, warm and modern chic, it's a beautiful restaurant to eat. The location of this restaurant is a little exposed in my opinion, not very private -- the eating area is exposed to the Gardens mall crowd that is walking about, I just felt the stylish factor sort of dropped when Im part of the exhibit for the mall or something. I tried their al fruitti di mare Pizza for at an exorbitant price of RM45. The pizza is a classic flat crust pizza topped with seafood (shrimp, mussels and squid) , fresh tomatoes, mozzarella and fresh herbs. My tongue was so bored, it went back to sleep after trying a slice of their pizza, the taste was lacking so much flavor. It felt under seasoned and the pizza was stingy with herbs. Their Pasta was unremarkable. I had the bucatini carbonara RM 36. It was spaghetti tossed with a sauce made with creamy egg based sauce with beef bacon and mushrooms. The taste of the pasta was not as bland as the pizza, but the carbonara was so average that I could get the same thing at pizza hut or something. It lacked the burst of fresh creamy flavor. The sauce was not creamy at all to be honest, it felt more like aglio olio. Overall I don't think Alexis at The Gardens Mall is a website destination. Its more of a mediocre place for some people to sit down, socialize and drain their wallets. There is a total of 6 locations in KL, this one is a total let down. I think the biggest issue with this location is with it's staffing, especially its kitchen staffing.

Love love the lasagna and pie ! Though food are slightly pricy but it is worth it. Enjoyed my dinner here very much. Great staff and service. Would definitely come back. Well done that as well.

We just had the pavlova and baked blueberry cheesecake. Pavlova is one of the best pavlova I ever had. Full with strawberries and blueberries too. Not too sweet and full of cream. Blueberry cheesecake not too bad too. Creamy, full of blueberries and not too sweet too.

The only good thing about this outlet was the service. I ordered Sarawak Laksa & it tasted really bad. I've tried the original Sarawak Laksa before & it doesn't even taste alike. Food presentation was okay. I also tried my boyfriend's fish and chips. Tasted okay. Ordered a side of fries and a jug of beer. Kind of expensive

Today is actually my first time coming here with colleagues. The decor and ambience are nice, service is good (waiters are attentive and will be there to serve you). No issues about that. I'm very pleased.I ordered Seafood Pasta (RM48) with Iced Cappucino (RM17) for my lunch. Well, here comes the part where I'm not sure... For its price, the pasta falls below my initial expectation (but still okay nonetheless). The taste is nothing to shout about and the portion could be bigger. I guess I should be trying their desserts next time since that's what Alexis is popular for.

My grilled lamb cutlets look pretty nice but very small portion for rm88. I asked for medium rare but it turn out to be very rare. Very disappointed.

It took me a while before I had a chance to visit Alexis Bangsar. Friends have been talking about the place for years and instead of visiting with friends, I visited with Dad. As it was just before lunch time, the place was still quiet. We were shown to our table very quickly. We sat right at the front overlooking their outdoor dining area.

Alexis is well known as a weekend jazz den, and that is the main attracting feature for me. The F&B is decent... but I don't automatically gravitate to Alexis for meals. Alexis feels more like a hangout bar for jazz aficionados and their food is just an accompaniment.

I know and then go to Alexis given it's central location at the Gardens, both lunch and dinner. Being slighly hidden in the back of the 2nd floor, it still manages to keep a decent ambiance despite being located in a mall (No, I'm not a fan of mall restaurants...).The crowd consists of business people and upscale shoppers, which is exactly what the menu carries. A mix of western (italian), asian (Chick Rice, Pho Bo, etc.), and others (Hummus, Burger) is likely to carry something for any taste. So far there have been no disappointments, and i have actually had most of the menu. On top of that, Alexis looks more expensive at first sight than it acually is - you can get a good meal for just about 25 bucks, of course without drinks.Service is good as well, taking me to no other conclusion that giving it a 4 out of five - solid value for money, but not extraordinairy.

Used to be on my top list.....Alexis bistro was getting fame throughout the year... I used to be their fans starting few years ago but recenty had starting to lose my interest and faith on them😑😑The ever Famous Tiramisu here was the versy firat reason that caught my attention..... instead of the traditional lady finger biscuit that being used as the base for the recipe, they use sponge cake instead😎😎 drizzling with coffee on each layer of sponge and finish with cream cheese!! The caramel roasted almond is then sprinkled all over the cake...eat with strawberry sauce??😚😚Pavlova seemed to be quite famous also but personally don't quite like the taste😌😌Tried their savoury dishes before but not quite impressing, just personally feel that oriental dishes doesn't belonged to them...and again, why would I have to pay extra to eat bihun soup here😧😧They have few outlet around KL but the usual spot I prefer to go is midvalley, which can be crowded with ppl sometimes especially if you plan for a visit during weekend....and their service can be quite slow during peak hour!!😣😣Would recommend here for dessert but if you looking for good food to fill up ur stomach....stay away!!!😬😬#CHEERS
