Having tried away the countless Arab restaurants within KL, I wasnt expecting very much the 1st time I visited Al Salam KL within July 2011. Nevertheless, when my meals arrived, I has been stunned. My friend purchased the Lamb Mendy and I purchased the Shish Tawouk. The Lamb Mendy arrived first. It had been tasty and the portions had been massive! Lamb was juicy, gentle like butter, totally melt in the mouth area, prepared to perfection lamb. The rice had been authentic Mendy prepared in the underground stove that provided it a flavour that's indescribable. Obviously, my friend liked it to the final bite and promptly purchased another plate! My Shish Tawouk took around 20 mins to arrive. I have been warned prior as their grill meals are made to purchase. The grilled poultry kebabs had been juicy and filled with taste. The garlic sauce has been delicious. SO tasty I had to require extra! I later discovered the garlic sauce is manufactured in-house. Wish they marketed it by the jar - I'd consume everything with that sauce. Once again, portions had been generous and really worth every bite. It has since become among my favourite orders. Since that fateful initial trip, I've made countless appointments weekly back again to Al Salam. They will have not dissatisfied me however. I bring all my family and friends here plus they have cherished it too. Service could be a little bit seeking during peak hrs, but understandable considering they're on 2 flooring and their grilled products are always popular. I actually highly recommend this spot to everyone. If you're fortunate, you might meet up with the nice individuals who run the area. They're friendly and constantly obliging with taking pictures and answering all of your questions.

We were celebrating a family group member's birthday and made a decision to keep it at Al Salam. If you ask me, Arabic foods must consist of Mendy and the Mendy offered as of this restaurant was superb. The rice had been fragrant since it was delicious and both lamb and chickenwere ideal. (I was told they utilize the traditional underground cooker because of this dish.) We also had their mixed grill which contains their Shish Tawouk (poultry), Shish Kebab (lamb) and Shish Awsal (beef). I loved the poultry and lamb, but discovered the beef to become a small though though tasty. Some items which we tried referred to as Fasha and Aqdah, aren't yet on their menus but was recommended if you ask me by way of a friend who has visited the cafe before. Fasha is really a kind of stew made out of lamb while Aqdah could be poultry or lamb (we'd chicken) with veggies. Both they are served with a normal Arabic breads called Mulawah - the loaf of bread resembles roti canai prepared in a tandoor. I had the meals with Arabic Mint tea while some had fruit drinks and canned beverages which may also be served at the eating place.

I was responsible for organizing the F&B for the late evening office conference. Not merely was I past due to purchase, but I was challenging as well. Individuals at Al Salam had been obliging plus they presented their meals very well. We purchased lamb aswell as poultry mendy and orange fruit juice for drinks. It emerged in a nicely loaded containers - no styrofoam with this particular people! :) They even place the veggie salad in different containers, a gesture very much appreciated. The lamb and poultry meat were both tender. The generous and much more importantly, delicious helping of mendy rice pleased everyone's appetite. The orange juice was furthermore worth mentioning here since it was the best nearly all solid and thick (nothing like yogurt, simply smooth) clean orange juice I've ever endured. Made one wonder how many oranges switches into their drink. EASILY were at the eating place I'd probably had questioned if it had been purely the orange no water added. Are you aware that service, the delivery males were polite and helpful (they could've dropped off the meals with me and become finished with it, but one of these actually helped myself carried everything around my office).

Haven't been within a while. The meals is still excellent. They will have included roast poultry on their menus and the roaster provides been placed beyond your restaurant for several to see. They now likewise have a burger stand operating alongside the restaurant. Thepatties are particularly 'home made' rather than the commercial range. One bite and you will tell the difference. There is also tables and chairs outside for individuals who wand to dine 'al-fresco'.
