It's a restaurant within an old resort. Offering early & old college breakfast, like coffee, fifty percent boiled eggs & toast. An excellent try even you aren't local

Another old establishment inside the silent Kuala Lipis is usually this kopitiam where almost all old folks congregate inside the afternoon to "chui sui" (blow water) more than kopi or teh. Nevertheless one can also enjoy their breakfast within the early morning where they market curry mee ontop of the most common toast and fifty percent boiled egg. Just a little history, Tong Kok Resort used to be probably the most well-known breakfast spot (after Chong Ko Hakka Noodle) but since the demise of the dad, it wasn't exactly the same anymore. The kopi/teh was OK however the toast (they nevertheless use the old college charcoal to get ready the toast) had observed their better days. The bottom floor is where in fact the kopitiam is... Plus they had done actually nothing at all to refurbish or renovate the complete place, rendering it retro or aged school look (or simply old and tired.. based on how you consider it). You can still discover the tables and seats of the yesteryears blended with plastic chairs. Their curry mee is a thing that most Lipis people mature eating... that's why it is a familiar flavor for the locals. They make use of Lipis noodle (it's preservative free incidentally and without the alkaline flavor that I dreaded), include curry chicken (unfortunately they use old hens), beancurd skins and bean sprouts. Personally I love consuming the curry mee... However when it involves curry mee, flavor it certainly subjective ok? My breakfast is finished by way of a cup of teh si and fifty percent boiled egg.
