Ordered a variety of dishes to talk about. Loved the miso soup and the salmon carpaccio. The natural soybeens was beautiful as usual. The very best was, nevertheless, the spicy japanese cucumber. It had been not really that spicy for a european family members, but had a good small sting toit combined with freshness of the cucumber. We really purchased 3 plates to talk about. Will definitely keep coming back!!

Visited upon 8 December evening around 8:00pm intended for 4 adults, sat from the table corner that's behind the trunk door. Wee were general impressed with the grade of service and also the food. Flavor of soy sauce has been way much unique of therest of japan dining places of KOTA Kinabalu and reminded the people thy we used to consume in Shinagawa. Tempura was super sharp, soup has been tasty , mushroom has been divine which you wouldn't normally expect. Must visit in the event that you don’t mind to cover the product quality. It’s above the common of market nonetheless it worth

Had lunch in Sakagura twice in my own 4 days go to at KK. Good meals with fresh high quality and tasty dishes. Purchase the sashimi and sushi. Yummy! Also, great support. Recommend Sakagura located in the mall at walk out (close to Hard Rock Cafe RockShop).

My wife and i love Japanese foods and we were extremely impressed with this particular restaurant. Food has been incredible, with plenty of fresh seafood - the salmon, tuna and prawns were divine! The sushi has been all delicious. The staff were beautiful. Costs were on the higherend (particularly for beverages) but we ordered a single dish at the same time and you’d end up being surprised how quickly you fill. We spent 200MYR for just two 2 classes and a glass or two per person.

We went two times to Sakagura during our stay static in Kota Kinabalu and both periods were just exceptional! Very tasty and clean food coupled with a excellent provider made our dinners simply PERFECT! We hardly recommend to go to this location if you want great Japanese foodat an excellent price. We’ll be back!

Stopped by for lunch time after reading reviews that are positive. Food was great but nothing special also it was very costly for foods in Malaysia. If you’ve had plenty of good Japanese meals don’t bother. Evidently the fish is usually all imported and doesn’t make the most ofthe refreshing seafood in your community.

Lovely Japanese restaurant, excellent food. Particularly appreciated the tepanyaki. Found the tempura a touch too oily but the rest of the food that people tried was fantastic.
