Miso soup was dark brown in colour, lacked the freshness of the standard miso soup. California roll wasn't firmly rolled. Beef wasn't that tender. Also to top the supper, 3 very happy & exuberant kids were enjoying & screaming at the trunk with their daddy/uncle. Not really the restaurant's fault, however they could have at the very least whispered something to the grownup to use tone in down a notch. It felt similar to a fast meals Japanese eatery with costly pricing. 2 stars just because the staff had been nice & friendly.

Really recommend a trip. Greatest sushi me and my hubby actually tasted (and we think it’s great so we've tried several places). All of the sushi we attempted experienced a twist, for ex california roll but with mango rather than avocado, and another roll withchicken teriyaki. May also recommend the tuna mayo sushi.

Strong unpretentious Japanese food. Not really top quality but prizes are reasonable. Been with us for many years however now in new much larger premises.
