This has been among our favourite haunt if we have the sudden crave for pan mee or baked crabs. There's just no other much better place to own it than at Sri Choon Keng. Their cooking regularity is remarkable. The pan mee (be sureto request to include fried eggs) always happens springy and the broth aromatic. The crabs offered here has never didn't impress, always super new, full bodied, firm meats and naturally sweet. Greatest and ONLY solution to trully appreciate and revel in these crabs are usually by salt baking them. It preserves the organic aroma and flavours of the crabs without masking it with any sauce. This place can be equally famed for his or her claypot curry mee (yellow noodle or rice vermicelli or both mixed together) that is accompanied with cockles & tofu. We've givennit a chance before but discovered it to be as well watery rather than santan-ish good enough. Guess one man's meats could be another man's poison. Right after having multiple visits right here over the past couple of years, we recently discovered that family owned and operate restaurant, was linked to among our inlaws side though I possibly could not really see any facial resemblance. Just what a small world!
