Came to JB from Singapore for your day. Once we were arriving prior to the Malls opened up we wished to have breakfast someplace we're able to relax. Found this put on website therefore believed we'd give it a try. It was a significant way from thecheckpoint region (about 25 min by taxi) and very difficult to get. We were very fortunate for the reason that we had an incredible taxi driver who halted twice to require directions and decided to get back to collect us! The restaurant is little and nicely decorated. Amazingly for a French eating place there were no breads or pastries on the menus! Their 'brunch' menus had 8-10 what to choose from. We purchased a scrambled egg, mushroom and smoked salmon vol au vent and a triple chocolate waffle with ice lotion. The salmon tasted great and was beautifully shown. The waffle was an excellent sized part but was fairly dried out. It required a sauce or refreshing lotion to soften it up a little. The coffee was Alright and there have been many teas to pick from (offered in a quirky teapot with a golden crown). All in almost all a nice breakfast however, not quite as wonderful as we expected.

Had an incredible anniversary supper experience with the bf at the stag. Provider by Vanoo was exceptional and food was excellent. The appetisers and soup had been stupendously tasty. However main course had been a lil disappointing because the steak was prepared done well and the lambshank has been overwhelmed by your wine. Perhaps should make longer to evaporate your wine. Vanoo was also type enough to serve people creme brulee like complementary dishes. Very much appreciated. We will definitely recommend the stag and the ardens resort to our friends and family for an excellent getaway. Although service charge had not been included we even now gave tips inside recognition of the great service we received. Many thanks Stag!

My friend and We had a pleasant meal in this wonderful restaurant. The area is impeccable and displays a higher standard of professionalism. Services was courteous and helpful. The food was tasty and beautifully presented, having an authentic French flavor, which was all fora affordable price. We obtained free a free loaf of bread assortment while we waited for the foods and delightful amuse-bouche as well! It's not easy and simple spot to find so be sure you or even you taxi are employing a Global positioning system, but it's really worth locating it. I recommend it!

Located inside The Ardens Hotel, it is a convenient place to get food since there is nothing round the vicinity. We attempted their slow roast poultry, beef steak, duck breasts salad, and mushroom cappuccino for supper; average taste but great presentation.

The atmosphere here's great for sets of friends to assemble and spend our time together. The service here's very thoughtful and pleasant, they got initiative to greatly help us decorate the location even we usually do not demand for that. They're sweet sufficient tosurprise the birthday woman with a good decorated creme brulee. The meals is fine and beautifully displayed at an acceptable price. Many thanks Stag for this type of memorable birthday celebration!

Great and cozy hidden location. Good for family to possess brunch minus the stress of sound. We like their freshly baked croissants. We enjoy our meals specifically their linguine cabonara.

Another unfortunate exemplory case of bad foods in a shiny environment in Johor. We discovered the area in a 'fine-eating' magazine and - for the initial sight - it certainly looks impressive. Nice decoration, quality wooden chairs, whitened damask table-cloth, all meals with French brands... abit an excessive amount of rose and pink for my flavor but overall, quite grand. In the event that you look closer nevertheless, you will discover the damask clothing are wrinkled, coated with white document cover, the quite bone-china butter holder hides small plastic material boxed butters, the flashy tea-pots have tea-luggage inside (top quality tea but nonetheless...). OK, so I'm the picky, overly critical snob. Well... probably. But even though you're fine with each one of these, the food will certainly end up being disappointing. The 'signature' brunch meals are usually without conception, unprofessionally prepared (driest poultry thighs I ever endured) and with poor ingredients. Wine selection: cheapest, poor wines. Charge card reader "fails". Waitress does not take away the empty plate, occupied playing with phone. Now... on an inexpensive food-court you'd be more lenient (perhaps) however in this placing and because of this price, you need to expect a lot more. This location is very-very definately not the fine-dining category.

Had a pal come here somewhere previous in da year and had been raving about the stylish ambience n excellent pancakes. The decoration was pretty basic but interesting. Brunch menus is bound to 8 products. Out of this , they ran out of pancakes and waffle.Which needless to say was told to people only directly after we carefully deliberated that people wanted pancakes. Ordered a large breakfast that was likely to have a sausage however when it came , experienced chicken ham rather. The waiter 'forgot' that the sausage ran out and devote an purchase for ham. Oh, their coffee maker was furthermore out of purchase, their craft beers and the rest on the menu had not been available aside from tea and water. Foods tasted decent , wasn't quite amazed and the salad didn't even look refreshing. All this probably might have been ignored had the services been good. He didn't also meet up with the bare minimum. Will not be coming here anymore.

I read in an assessment that this is really a French okay dinning place, therefore i arrived expecting it to become more. Located in n unassuming home section of Austin, The Stag Bistronomy, is easily missed. That it is a little eatery in the Ardens Resort, a2-star accommodation, using its interior adornments imitating an European experience. The food, although, not necessarily French, isn't bad. My children and I purchased some brunch and the egg casserole ended up being very yummy. My lamb shoulders can be quite tasty, though it is certainly cooked in a far more Asian fusion design than French. Lower your expectations which place could be simply very good, in comparison to many eateries of exactly the same scale.
