Johor Baru happens to the birthplace of 2 of Asia’s undisputed cultural treasures: otak otak and the writer of this blog. Otah (or otak-otak inside Malay) is actually mashed seafood and spices, that is steamed then flame grilled inside banana leaves to achieve that smokeyyet moist aroma. The otah (or otak) name is nearly weird - “brains” in Malay language. It could be eaten alone - along the hatch, with rice (especially nasi lemak) or noodles (specifically mee rebus) or slathered onto loaf of bread for a savoury lunch time or breakfast. Simply great deal of thought is usually all it requires to get my mouth-watering. These soft, savoury however, not too chewy fish cakes at Storia Café have become addictive. Yes, 3 will be never good enough! The spice is slight and I can flavor the freshness of the seafood. It meets all of the requirements except that it’s not really too generous in part. The otak-otak here satisfy both expert and the greedy. This is actually the true reality as say it since it is… (www.perfyi.wordpress.com)

The otah is the greatest in town. It is extremely crowded each morning specifically the weekends. The otah-otah is quite hot and tasty. The otah-otah can be very fresh. The cost of the otah-otah will be 1 stick will be RM 0.70, 10 for RM 7which is quite cheap. I'd like to come once again to consume more otah.

You can find all of the staple malaysian breakfast food here. Nasi lemak, mee, meehoon, roti bakar etc. They have even otak otak! Foods tasted sufficient. Reasonable pricing. Ideal for a malaysian breakfast!

Food quality: among the best Otah, orange in color freshly bake, when it’s serves popular, it’s like a little rectangular Otah that is gentle and juicy. Unlike Muar Otah that is flat and the reddish colored colour sweet Otah. Foods variety: compliment with 3 typesof nasi lemak, fried mee siam, Fried mee and rice, seafood ball, prawn crackers. Atmosphere: hot and stuffy , plan a large crown each morning. Service: fast services on otah, the others all self service. Recommended: if you want fish mind otah, the fish mind otah have a very much flavourful sweetness flavor compared to the normal otah, because they crush the fish mind and mix with the otah, simply need to avoid bones while eat. The seafood head otah generally sell out by 8am on weekends.
