Came to find out about this place predicated on a friend’s suggestion. We ordered the dark pepper crab with vermicelli, lala, fried rice and belachan kang kong amongst additional dishes. I like the fantastic service of the eating place and the reasonable costs. I furthermore feelthat the meals tasted excellent (much less oily than Singaporean zi char). Overall an excellent spot to dine in!

We had a large team and was served reasonably okay. Staff was just a little hectic and that has been to be likely as restaurant was instead busy when we have there been. Price was sensible. We purchased suckling pigs also it was good rather than too fat.Remaining dishes were tasty aswell.

Service has been very decent however the food was just about average. We'd 2 chilli crabs (they only had little crabs around 500g), chilli lalas, the bowl of kang kong and lovely & sour pork. The costs came around rm235 and the crabsthemselves cost rm143, that is not exactly inexpensive because of this kind of restaurant. And perhaps i was unlucky, but i had diarrhea around 30 minutes after my meal.

Visited at around 8.30pm upon 16 Jun. Sat lower and ordered really promptly whenever a friendly woman took our purchase. There is no menu therefore we didn't understand the price tag on the dishes that people ordered. After looking forward to abt 40mins, another server brought aplate of fried chicken which we didn't order. We well informed the server promptly and the dish had been retrieved by another elderly server after she examined the orders. After that another lady server found say three of the laundry we wanted ran away. Okay this is simply not cool after wasting therefore enough time x 4 people. An elderly male server (the rudest of the lot) told us to have a large plate of soup for 10 pax. We were just a table of 4 individuals. I requested if the huge bowl cld be put into two portions as another desk also wanted a little pot of the soup. The soup at currently boiled- so not really that it must be cooked. Evidently the flavour will undoubtedly be changed. We wished to depart and the dude simply walked away and questioned us to cover the drinks. Needless to say we'd. He was just actually rude about it.

It is a typical tze char (stir fried) Chinese restaurant in JB plus they have been around for a long period. The adornments of the area is simple, not so clean and the program is average. However, the food here's delicious. The only real menuis shown on pictures on the outside. Plenty of seafood dishes however, not cheap. I've tried many meals here plus they were quite flavourful, which was standard for tze char foods.

Browse the reviews and made a decision to test it out for in view of the restaurant was running a business for a lot more than 30 years. Ordered the tea pot of Chinese tea, 3 dried out and something soup char kuey teow, nice and sour pork meats balls riceand a single onion planting season fish rice. The meals portions were considered big however the price was also pricey compared to the same meals in KL. A tea pot of Chinese expenses rm12 in JB but only RM5-8 in KL. Char kuey teow had not been as tasty because the one in KL and Penang, the squids had been overcooked. The onion springtime fishes were too gentle and seem not so fresh. Questioned for wifi password from the youthful waitress but she appears a little scare to reveal the password and clients must request from the counter thru the girl boss with some mindset. Incidentally, the restaurant does not have any menu and no prices were proven beforehand! Eat at your personal risk.

Good spot to go if you need to get seafood. There is no menu, so perform ask the service employees for suggestions and price beforehand which means you know what you're ordering.

Continued a seafood dinner in New Lucky Seafood on 17th Nov 2019 after some recommendation on-line. On achieving the restaurant, there is no menu and we'd no idea just how much we were spending money on our meals. Henceforth, to play secure, we purchased beehoon crabs, pig tummy soup and a prawn paste dish. I inquired for a small plate of soup and the server mentioned they just have 1 dimension at 10 ringit. Convinced that just 3 basic meals won't burn our wallet, we proceeded to hold back for our food. 20mins later, our food arrived. The bee hoon has been extremely salty, crabs were regular with no wow factor.Nevertheless, we didn require 2 crabs since it was just the two 2 folks yet 2 crabs arrived and I question if the server regarded that it had been too much for all of us. Next arrived the prawn paste that was cold rather than crispy at all. Lastly emerged the soup, furthermore normal no wow factor aside from the price that basically "wowed" me. From the mere 10 ringit as stated as by server, it snowballed to 70 ringit for a ingredientless whitened pepper soup with a few mushrooms and pig belly. It certainly made me question if this eating place is a black store without giving an obvious pricelist and structured the price predicated on instruction from their cooking area upon my enquiry. Consider the receipt attached and you may know what After all. And indicate note, we simply had peanuts no crackers released to us because they claimed that there is only 2 folks rather than 4. However, we covered price of peanuts cum crackers however they got the crackers out predicated on their very own business aspect. I strongly discourage likely to New lucky cafe. Food isn't worth the price and the taste will not append to its popularity.

Unbeknownst to all or any of you, I've a good friend whom I'm proud to contact my buddy in the southern condition of Johor. We visited the same university, studied in exactly the same foundation plan before he proceeded to go his separate solution to Wellingtonwhile I however, headed to Dunedin in New Zealand. We still retain in touch even with we graduated - he returned to his hometown in JB to kick-begin his profession and worked his method up the industry. He could be now certified auditor along with his own company. Regardless of how busy he could be, he will make an effort to put aside some time to entertain me whenever I'm around, provided that he's around. Which means this restaurant is really a family buddy of his, and today he's managing their accounts. We simply blindly followed him in to the cafe and he ordered a few of the dishes for all of us, with a bottle of Cordon Bleu to help keep us entertained while waiting around. ◾Steamed fish - embarrassed to say it yet I'd forgotten the kind of fish yet what I remember has been that the fish had been very fresh plus steamed to perfection. ◾Deep fried poultry leg - undoubtedly my preferred dish of the night time. The poultry leg was in fact braised first before strong fried, leading to the explosion of flavours in the mouth area. I think that people experienced 2 servings that evening ◾Mix fried asparagus with prawns - sweet asparagus plus nice prawns.. great combinations. ◾Fried kuey teow - this wasn't planned.. but we were already quite higher high at that time (Cordon Bleu) and something folks said "I'm still sensation hungry" so my pal quickly purchased this char kuey teow. I have to state that the CKT has been excellent - packed with the fundamental wok hei, the cockles had been cooked perfectly... For someone who stay away from taking in carb, u found myself breaking the guidelines again.. sigh!! This is a more developed restaurant that is in business for most many years. The assistance was attentive - probably because my friend had been around - and we finished the night happily.
