Employees were very friendly and great. Various kinds of food to pick from the menu, meals can be cheaper than Batam and is certainly air-conditioned. Foods is served rapidly. One thing to indicate is on the initial evening, food was really salty and on thesecond night time, foods was overly bland. Probably various chefs on the both nights. We ordered even more on the second evening with steamed tiger grouper, salted egg crab plus some little dish for RM240. Very worthy of the money. Have plenty of flies on the next night and doesn't assist when the employees gave us the candle. Will still keep coming back if we remain overnight in Johor.

Nowadays , I discover the authenticity of testimonials submitted come in question . It was previously quite reliable and today I do discover that you need to consider these evaluations with a pinch of salt . But I’d perform my far better review itas it really is - ie information and real experience . I browse the good to exceptional testimonials for hook sang and made a decision to test it out for (oh dear ). Ordered curry fish head , lengthy bean fried with mince meats and do-it-yourself tofu . 3 meals and 3 rice and 2 bamboo longan beverages. Bill is RM 70.50. Costly ? Depends on the grade of foods . Here’s the verdict . The curry fish mind was so-so . Fish had not been very fresh - it is possible to taste the fishy odor . Long bean had not been poor and the tofu has been quite dry . Overall the average quality dinner . I would suggest to go grandma’s eating place opposite or cafe Jia Jia . Eating place Jia jia includes a far better curry fish mind . And grandma’s restaurant meals quality and elements used will be fresher than hook sang. I'll not get back to hook sang again ( despite the fact that to be reasonable - their service is fairly fast ) . However the most essential for me may be the quality of foods , where hook sang restaurant actually disappoints .

We was introduced to the coffeeshop by my partner back 2011. I appreciated the food right here and visited them some more times between 2011 to 2012. Today we made a come back visit in August 2018. The meals is still great and the settinghas not really changed a little. The older uncle who takes purchase is still there. We had several dishes, mongolia chicken, springtime onion sliced fish, crazy boar meats, fried rice, mix fried spinach and sour plum fruit juice. We'd no complains. We furthermore had satay nonetheless it had plenty of fat and nearly one-3rd of the satay had not been consumed. The parking there's free for later nights which coffeeshop reaches the turning of road. You can find live life seafood and you also could obtain seafood of your selection. The could prepare it how you like or have a select from their long set of menus. The purchase price is reasonable. I compensated about RM85 for 4 pax all of the above food.

Frequent this place because of the reasonable pricing. Among their specialty may be the pork tummy with fried bee hoon. We always purchase the steam seafood as it’s quite worthwhile. Other favorites are usually prawn paste poultry, salted egg sotong, homemade tofu. Fried rice wasnice as well and quite cheap. Constantly see others consuming crab but haven't tried yet.

I had lunch with my partner and four of her cousins at Hook Sang Cafe located at Jalan Indah 16/8 | Taman Bukit Indah, Johor Bahru 81200, Malaysia We attained the restaurant at about 11.30 am also it was already quite filled with diners. We ordered the Salt Baked Poultry, BBQ Squid, Fried Rice Noodle, Steam Ocean bass plus some stir fried veggies plus they taste pretty good. Worth looking into this restaurant because they served good meals at affordable price.

brought our colleague to the tze char stall to test quite a few cheap seafood and this individual was not disappointed. The seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection. Personally love the huge clams and the fried ocean bass with soy sauce. Price has been extremely cometitive.

This restaurant served nearby Tze char dishes like your fried sea bass in soy sauce, your bitter melon soup and all of your typical Tze char dishes. Affordability as you can dine within an air conditioned region yet pay the cost of roadsidestall. Above average flavor.

This is a fantastic restaurant that never allows us to down. There is a different one of the exact same/similar name nearby, therefore check the deal with and pictures to ensure you’re obtaining the right one, that is 1 Jalan Indah 16/8. I’ve been going right here regularly withfriends and co-workers for over 24 months now in fact it is a popular of many people within my work. We have just protected a fraction of the extremely extensive menus but all has already been tasty. The waiting staff have become friendly - we just speak English therefore there are some who preferentially assist us as their English is preferable to a few of the other staff. From the menus, some favourites are 1. Salted duck egg mushrooms - among our favourite meals in Johor. Crispy enoki mushrooms with salted duck egg covering, curry leaves and natural chilies 2. Salted duck egg crab. One crab generally costs RM75-100. The chilli and dark pepper sauces may also be good. 3. Burgandy or merlot wine pork ribs 4. Infant gai lan with garlic (uncertain this is on menus - we just require it 5. Four type blended veg - aubergine, longer bean, okra and (I’ve had to check this up!) stink bean (really it can taste good). Shows up fried in sambal (I believe) with ikan bilis (little crunchy fried fish) 6. Wild curry boar 7. Kampung chicken - that is great for kids. It is steamed poultry which will come in a lighting sesame essential oil sauce - it’s a large portion, about 1/2 poultry for the tiny size (RM23). You can find 2 sauces privately, a fiery chilli one and a minced ginger (delicious!). Plenty of breast meats for fussy eaters, in addition to the remaining chicken chopped through to the bone for the even more adventurous. 8. Garlic vegetable 9. Seafood fried rice 10. Dark pepper sliced fish That needs to be enough to truly get you going! The personnel are excellent with making recommendations as well. You can find separate stalls/businesses within the restaurant area who sell satay (RM1 a stick - delicious with plenty of spicy peanut sauce) or beer. You purchase this from their website and pay if they deliver it to your desk.

Visited them for lunch time (for 5). I have to register my dis-satisfaction. Meals standards drop a whole lot I spot the staff was completely from Myammar-I have complete respect however, not for this crew they will have an atmosphere of indifference. I could take no program but thefood must flavor good. Sadly it isn't
