Read the review stating pricey before heading right now there. Had been expecting ~RM100/common steak, but cost listed in menus blew my eyeballs out of its socket. Soup in RM30++ range that is fine, steak at the very least RM165++. Wagyu >RM300 and its own only australian. Not jap. ivehad australian wagyu from great kl restaurant also it was just RM180++. But possibly the ambience and meals is actually good hence the high cost, therefore we took a go at it. We'd lobster bisque (price 5/10) and striploin steak. My partner took very first bite and viewed me with discontent, i proceeded to go following and i couldnt inform if the meats i was chewing had been also beef. It didnt possess any beef taste apart from over marinated nice and pepperish flavor. The sides had been mediocre, couldnt even obtain the potatoes correct. We only have the ability to stomach not even half of meats served. But significantly steak for RM80++ in Alexis KL will be x10times much better than RM165++ striploin in Grill Bar Johor. Maybe kaki corner RM30-40 steak taste much better than this. The soup and mains skipped the tag! NOT RECOMMENDED, AVOID!

The ambience is cosy and warm. Employees is incredibly friendly. Food is great and delicious Us of 4 had 3 different steaks (MYR190 each) and the salmon with the clam chowder as a starter. The steak is tasty. Their specific Wagyu marbling 9+ isMYR42 per oz which computes to approx. MYR400 for a 250gram steak ! I sensed it had been overpriced and we didn't take up some of their special. It’s a good knowledge but at that cost, there are several options to take into account in JOHOR Bahru.

we have been to the restaurant often before it had been renovated. The Menus before really was good and the meals was incredible. it is usually incredibly crowded and we had a need to create reservation or we shall have to wait around to get a chair. Howeveri was there the other day and was amazed the restaurant wasn't as well busy. i was actually shocked when i noticed the brand new menu and the purchase price list. Properly i dont brain paying the purchase price if it had been acceptionally great or if it had been different from the most common.To our disappointment it had been nothing special concerning the food. I dont believe i will get back to this restaurant again. I hope they can recreate the old menus with cod seafood and prawn alio olio and the fried onion blossom, and the prawn beginner. yum i skip that.

The steak here's excellent. Good seasoning and flavour. Steak make medium rare beautifully. The staff here's helpful and well trained. In a position to give a detail launch of the meals ordered. Pricey but worthwhile.

Me and 2 of my close up buddies went for the bachelor night before among em got hitched also it was amazing! Steak Wagyu is crucial try! Mash pumpkin aswell! Never understand steak and bachelor celebration can go so properly!

The steak was tasty! But the earning dish for the night time had been the Bloody Mary Lobster pasta! The Margherita & mushroom pizza was superb tasting upon the suggestion of staff, Romano. Quite cosy and family helpful. We didn’t produced any reservation and the eating place wascrowded but we had been seated immediately. I'll definitely go to the restaurant once again with my family. P.S The drinks could possibly be improved. No fizz in the beverage though soda drinking water was described to be additional in the drink.

Great food and pleasant staff! I don’t usually enjoy steak. But I acquired their Wagyu Steak (medium uncommon according to the waiter’s suggestion) and OMG it simply melted in my mouth area. Their Broccoli Salad will be super with all the current flavors coming jointly. Their Warm LavaCake? Heavenly! With the taste and generous serving, it really is worth every Malaysian Ringgit (I will know I’m just a Philippine peso-earner on an instant holiday). Terima kasih, Grill Bar Steakhouse!

The deci is quite impressive even because of its toilet. Your spend a higher price for the grade of meat. Unfortunately it generally does not match with the standard of cooking them. For just one the beef steaks was included with fanciful names not really call your regular Tenderloin, Ribeye, Sirloinor T-bone. The beef steak has been extremely salty & oily cooked also for the veg that was included with it. You covered the standard of meat however, not the cooking ability. It spoilt the flavor & enjoyment of consuming the steak eventhough they might be juicy & tender. Not really worth the purchase price you covered. No wonder the area is crowded nor well-known. Its the standard of cooking it doesn't matches the purchase price you covered it.
