In line with the excellent reviews, all of us were filled with excitement to use our initial experience eating beggars' poultry. We ordered one poultry in addition to the signature country seafood. It had been disappointing. The chicken meats isn't of much flavor and the meats is similar to fromold chicken rather than tender, very little herb taste. The seafood(or seafood cake) is very dried out. While eating, we had been visited by way of a swamp of home flies. Very busy consuming and chasing. My 1st and last visit.

On arrival at Kranji mrt, we crossed the overhead bridge to get 170A to the teach checkpoint instead because the queue at Kranji mrt bus-stop was lengthy and bus 170 and 170x (which visit Woodland checkpoint at the departure hall) were packed. Onthe other hands bus 170A was fairly empty but requires strolling through the custom made building which includes signs to steer one ultimately to the departure hall. I've traveled to Johor Bahru twice recently and my trip occasions was 40 mins and 50 mins respectively beginning at 9.30 am at the checkpoint. Five folks luckily met two metered taxi motorists who have been brothers (Mr Chai) who helped us all called the cafe to purchase our begger chicken once we were not able to call the eating place a day previous to reserve the clay baked beggar poultry. They were so useful in interacting with the dog owner in directing us to the brand new location at an effective cafe (113 Jalan Impian Emas 22). On top of that they had been brothers and may communicate with one another if they had problem at first in seeking the new venue. We ordered the beggar poultry, country seafood, melon soup, oyster rice and stir-fried veggies. The soup and veggie was the very best. The chicken meats is soft but I'd prefer even more herb flavour but still worth eating. This level of food is merely nice for five folks (RM$170). The two brothers found fetch us back again to town and we visited Amphawa Boat Noodle at Jalan Tan Hiok Nee for coffee ( taxi cost-RM$24 a proven way). There are numerous cafes here across the two roads at Jalan Tan Hiok Nee and Jalan Dhoby. Both Town Square and Komtar are usually close by, about 5 mins leave. After shopping, we remaining at 6 pm and remarkably the bus sped through the Causeway without the jam. We required CW5 ($3.10 each) bus back again to Newton. Trip was smooth and quick.
