Came here to use their soft boiled eggs on toast, caramel custard & white espresso and really enjoyed the meals & drinks. Good recommended and worthy of the try during Ipoh.

We had espresso and kaya toast here. I love the kaya. It really is thick however, not too lovely. You can buy a little cup house for RM3. The store markets egg sponge cake, sliced and covered with kaya for RM1.80 per piece. Nonetheless it soldout relatively quickly. The good thing concerning the coffee shops together this stretch of road is you could order food (just food, not drinks) from any coffee shops in the vicinity. The meals vendor will deliver the meals for you if s/he's not really busy or it is possible to wait and provide the meals to the restaurant where you purchased the drinks. Therefore, we purchased the prawn noodle from Nam Heong opposing and loved it. We were recommended the chee cheong fun in Sin Yoon Loong but we didn't had the opportunity to check it out. We were well informed that the chee cheong enjoyable vendor has determined that the weekend break crowds were an excessive amount of for him and he today just opens on weekdays.

Love the espresso here since it is thicker and fragrant. The kaya toast is usually toasty and filled with kaya. We constantly come here whenever we are usually in Ipoh. This is a nice spot to get your espresso fix.

The coffee in the 3 famed coffee shops (kopitiam) have their very own followers. In case you are from KL, you'll come across Nam heong has branches elsewhere in PJ namely Uptown etc and Old Town Coffee, their spin offs. for Sunlight Yoon Loong, which promises tobe 1st Ipoh white espresso pioneer, they will have a branch inside Aman Suria (operated by relative) they provide same espresso and egg together with toast thus whatever Ipoh s fame foods are, you will find branches in KL and PJ esp white espresso. There are also wat tan hor at Tuck Kee in Uptown and tauge poultry in Jalan Gasing and PJ older town. so may be the same high quality of food within the KL /pJ branches ? Response : no ! Ipoh is the greatest !

Appears like many TA authors enjoy their coffee right here. Considering that I’m quite definitely a squeamish individual, I didn’t benefit from the atmosphere right here. The chopsticks had been a tad greasy. THEREFORE I was already unpleasant prior to the first bite. Could it be me or dopeople clear their chopsticks with hands sanitizer? From our photo, our char siew and roasted pork didn’t look appetizing. It wasn’t tasty. Probably even dull. Noodles exactly the same. (we wondered why the meats was offered on polystyrene?) But there is very good news! We purchased a lot of their baked products to move. Kaya puff, salted egg with poultry floss buns, egg tarts and curry puff. We were holding so therefore yummy. Nothing at all beats their baked items. Not the guys next door.

A traditional restaurant (kopitiam) around Ipoh town area. The wanton mee in this shop is exquisite (Maybe I'm very hungry at that time), the wanton mee are chewy, the cha siu (roasted barbeque pork) was simply at the right quantity of juicy and fine, are you aware that wanton was what i expected. Its entire set was just good. Needless to say, you have gotta try the egg tarts, the loaf of bread with eggs (Roti Goyang), Kaya Puff. as well as the well-known caramel eggs custard. I didn't manage to attempt the chee cheong enjoyable since it was closed that time. Lastly, the drinks, I've ordered Coffee, White Coffee, Milo, and Cham (milk tea + coffee), IMO, Cham is the greatest drink I drank. The quantity of the mixing is strictly just magnificent, just because a lot of areas, whenever I purchased Cham, it has something similar to an excessive amount of milk tea, or an excessive amount of coffee, or the complete drink doesn't have a lot of the taste of every. Sin Yoon Long is correct contrary of Nam Heong, though it still would have to be queue (however, not just as much as nam heong)... however the meals in the shop will not disappoint me. Oh ya, helpful reminder, the rate of the helping is excellent.

I have already been there several periods. I would proceed there whenever I go to Ipoh. Their coffee nevertheless tastes the same nowadays. A glass of iced espresso is most beneficial to quench your thirst beneath the scorching sunlight that you can enter Malaysia (nearly) the wholeyear round.
