Went for lunch time. Dim sum was new and tasty. We furthermore purchased off the ala carte menus. Peking duck yummy. Pan fried pork with salted seafood is my favourite. Services is good. Will get beer and Chinese dessert. Prices just a little high but nonetheless reasonableenough.

There are bad and the good reviews because of this restaurant. Let's chat about the nice part: 1. Food On my big day, they did guarantee fresh fish plus they delivered it. Through the entire whole wedding ceremony luncheon, everyone provided a thumbs up and also the fried ricewas licked clear. There was non end praising on the food also it was definitely good. 2. Banquet Hall It had been fantastic. They understood their method of doing the light and filling the environment in the hall. What some uncle and aunties stated was they in no way knew there's this type of stunning banquet hall in Ipoh. Today for the not good part: 1. Service Sometimes its good. Occasionally its horrible. Great is if they want to obtain you to to remain their restaurant. Bad component was they do a last minute modification on the decoration that was 5 times before my wedding, fortunately they decided to use a number of the old decoration to complement my theme. In addition they chased my mother your money can buy through the luncheon banquet, as though like we're able to just run off. They explained that there is another event going on during the night thats why we'd to leave at 3pm sharp. The final table of desserts weren't out yet, plus they have previously cleaned up leading tables, switching on all the lighting, chasing the guest apart. I have no idea how awful it appeared as if to the guest. Most severe part had been, there wasn't any event heading on during the night. I sensed awfully cheated on that. They might have simply spend another a quarter-hour simply for the guest to remain and mingle around. 2. Price Needless to say, comparing their menu cost with other dining places in ipoh. Their wedding ceremony menu price is a lot higher. But so long as they provide good food, I believe it's still very alright. Overall? Good food, great ambiance but bad services and higher price.

For the meals. Good taste however, not exceptional. Seafood seems under prepared and dessert had not been up to standard. All of those other dishes was good.

The restaurant is well decorated, pretty spacious and higher ceiling. Service is great also it belongs to well-known Tai Thong group. The hot platter which has smoke duck, loh meat etc is quite tasty. The braise crab soup has tinge of bitterness that is nottoo common in Chinese soup. The 玉兰kampung chicken is nice but absence the ham piece. The prawns done is 2 ways isn't awful but farm prawns absence the sweetness. The braised mushroom with vegan abalone is filled with favours and delicious. The dessert kaya bun that's shape like mushroom is imaginative and tasty. Will be back.

We had a significant time here with high grade food and service. We're able to not discover fault with any facet of the place. We'd fish because the main meal also it was most likely the best fish we'd in Malaysia. Great location.

I just had probably the most disappointing lunch there nowadays! Food has been extremely slow, and even worse, we have been informed about certain meals not being available a lot more than 15 mins after we ordered! We were also kept waiting around very long going back dish (pork knuckles), andthey finally told us that it had been likely to take another any period of time, at which period we decided that good enough was enough. And the worst type of of most, when my niece visited the counter to cover the bill, she overheard the waitresses (they didn't realise that our niece was position at earshot distance) at the counter belittling us, as though we are quite a few customer from hell. The nerve of the ladies! I made a decision to summon the supervisor to my desk and gave him an earful! We dine away at the very least 4 times weekly, and there are few mid to top quality restaurants that we haven't been to. In every my years of patronising like restaurants, it has to be my WORST encounter! I would definitely not recommend this eating place to anyone. Oh, and the grade of the meals was very ordinary on best!

The dim sum could have been good if it had been hot . The majority of the dim sum had been lukewarm or cold . That has been not the best way to treat clients.I complained concerning the dim sum getting cool she blamed it on the air-con. Therestaurant was comfy and pleasant and personnel was attentive unfortunately chilly or lukewarm dim sum spoiled our lunch time. Won't recommend this cafe to anyone.

I have already been to Royal China many times but was prompted to create my first review when i noticed the gradual deterioration in the grade of the meals. The service was usually good because they promptly transformed the plates after every course and had been generallyfriendly. The food had not been as god as some other dining places in Ipoh and getting more costly is not affordability. We had to hold back for the first course being truly a Saturday night. Not really my first selection in Ipoh.
