The food is certainly without doubt Ipoh’s best northern Indian restaurant. We've been following proprietor since Tandoori Home days. Sadly, the waiters are usually below par and rude.

Went once for supper and immediately after again another period for lunch (Is it possible to say banana leaf place!?) Liked the masala tea and everything we all ordered was tasty, vegetarian and poultry dishes alike. The naan was really fresh and the staff were kind and helpful.Recommend visiting for your meal. We'll definitely be again!

Cleanliness: 50/50, Wait time: 10- half an hour Decor: Nothing much. Food is excellent, however. The chef provides many specialties, and there's kulfi (Indian ice lotion) available.

We'd a seriously delicious food here in the center of the week. Small but well shaped menu of tasty North Indian food. It’s got the strange neighborhood hall vibe for the inside but you come in Ipoh so simply crack on. Superb value formoney even though people do say it’s a little pricey for the region. Wear it you Ipoh list.

We went for Lunch time during deepavali week. 6 folks had regular banana leaf foods which cost complete RM82. RM8 per pax for regular vege banana leaf.(nevertheless O.K) Of 6 pax, 3pax was vegetarian and took 1 bowl of couliflower(didnt check out the price) The rest3pax took only one 1 bowl of Prawn Sambal(RM24) & 1 bowl of Chicken Perattal (RM16).(shared among all 3) I never paid anywhere near this much still at KL. Meals is indeed so only. Nothing exclusive to remember. Honestly I'll not keep coming back again.

Banana leaf lunch time for 10 pax. 2 plates of chicken, 1 plate squid and a bowl of curry mutton. Portions come in a plate how big is an adult's palm. All drank plain drinking water. RM 120. That's pretty outrageous for a location likethis. In addition the curry is very bland, collection of vege for the banana leaf - three (3) sorts, also pretty un-appetising. It is a huge disappointment. I've had several meals within the past however the standard has dropped.

Our guesthouse proprietor, who recommended this spot to people, said it work "Malaysian Indian". Wrong -- this is quite genuine North Indian, exactly like I'd anticipate in India itself. We purchased poultry dopiaza, aloo gobi and brinjal (aubergine) masala plus a large pile ofrice, papadam and raita. We each got a tall lime fruit juice. The brinjal had been especially delicious but everything was great. Total bill has been RM48 which In considered pretty fair.

Extensive an easy task to follow menu, food & service great, locals dining - always an excellent sign. Just a little cafeteria like but offers some atmosphere.

It certainly hurt me to state goodbye to a huge selection of ringgit just for taking in normal, not-so-great meals. Do go have a look at this location if you don't mind serious holes in your wallet. Daylight robbery! In addition there is no break down of prices.Ought to be reported to the authorities actually.

Too expensive, incompetent services…they gave banana leaf meal without offering the veggie sides..after questioning and only the vegetables came…they put prices with dictatorship attitude, they simply tell the amount to cover without saying concerning the pricing of every item…every customer must know whatthey are spending money on so an adequately listed bill ought to be provided to the client upon paying…being an ex andersonian…I’m unfortunate at the characteristics of the shop that some kind spoils the nice name of the institution as well….
