Sri Mahkota was nicely reviewed to end up being Ipoh's best beef noodle store and being truly a big enthusiast of it, a trip was in order. these were also properly known because of their hakka mee and yong tau foo. whenever we got there, the area was packedwith locals that is a good sign. their system starts with you grabbing lots at the front end and getting a seat. you wait around till a waiter arrives to take your purchase. i had been fortunate to understand this from testimonials on google. we waited near an hr before we could actually make an purchase and at that time the famed hakka mee acquired run out. we purchased their dried out kuey teow, beef noodles + beef balls, tendon and tripe, fishballs, fried beancurd and fried beancurd with seafood paste. The star of our meal was the chilli sauce, spicy & tangy and had the proper kick but unfortunately all of those other meal was forgettable. the fried beancurds had been oily and was okay only as the beef balls experienced a powdery experience to it (yuck). the famed beef noodle has been substandard with bland broth. the purchase price was reasonble which can explain the huge crowds. won't return > not well worth the long await mediocre food
