Although it is situated relatively away from the town centre, the eating place was crowded whenever we arrived for supper at 6.30pm. Thankfully we could actually get yourself a table for 10 on top of the floor (no lift). Service was exceptable however the almost all therepeat customers are available mainly for the meals. We ordered 6 bowls of which 5 had been of very good quality and we had been extremely content with the meal. My favourite dish needs to be the claypot pork slices inside dark sauce with ginger and scallions, and the deep-fried fresh drinking water river prawns. We attempted the steamed marinated poultry offered with ginger sauce that was a residence specialty and weren't disappointed. Both vegetable meals were delightful - we'd kailan stir-fried with yam and the Romaine lettuce sauteed with fermented bean curd. The cafe captain suggested a bean curd dish that was okay but very much to my liking - but I assume this is only a personal view because the other people in the team liked it. This is actually the perfect spot to sample the very best of Hakka food that Ipoh provides. The restaurant is completely air-conditioned and visitors can dine in ease and comfort. I would recommend East Ocean for anybody who would like to have a flavor of fine Hakka eating.

First time struggling this restaurant enroute to Hatyai street trip. We already booked furthermore its neighbor 3 times later to use its "grand harvest" menu of RM2 thousand ++ place. Display is o.k., flavor is great but Abalone will be smaller. Probably because we have been regularhere, anticipation was a little better & knowing its dishes simply by hard. The area was packed & favored by locals alas for all of us foreigners we were then your last to depart the restaurant at 10.25pm

We've experienced a family group lunch at East Sea Seafood Restaurant in past due October. As there have been many bus tours arriving round the time we found the cafe without booking, we've anticipated the service would end up being unreliable and rushed. Very wrong folks!Great food, excellent service and surprisingly peaceful and pleasant atmosphere understanding there were plenty of people today arriving and being seated round the same period. Seafood is everything you come right here for and shrimps, squid, cuttlefish, cod and several other delicacies were clean and ready to perfection. This is simply not an excellent dining restaurant, however the food is tasty and incredibly well prepared. It has been first period for me personally at this restaurant, once we have another location we usually head to in Ipoh, but this is really not the final time we shall go there for certain.

Restaurant established fact among locals. They work standard established dinners that range between 500RM to 1200 RM (we've always avoid the less expensive sets). We just like the tasty options and fancy arrangements - revolutionary (especially one that can be found in a dragon container.Arrive earlier to get parking but there's parking normally inside a 10-15 minutes stroll. Waitresses are young, very and very courteous. If you work with bank cards for 5 or even more tables (10 people per table), make sure to are preapproved by administration. They don't like charge card payments for big celebrations.

Our band of 9 had lunch time here and we still left it to Wendy (who provided excellent assistance) to create recommendations and all of the dishes including 2 forms of dessert were superb. Wish I possibly could recall all of the names of the laundry (in Chinese) we hadbut I'm uploading all of the photographs with this particular review. Besides good foods and service, addititionally there is ample parking during lunch time on a weekday. An extremely good value spot to dine at. Though it is beyond Ipoh town, this eating place will probably be worth a visit!

Another great spot to have great chinese food. A little definately not Ipoh town however the drive out will probably be worth it. The laundry are old style and actually yummy. The service can be excellent. Again, is difficult to find good services nowadays. Regional waitressesand waiters who understands what you need is a gem!! will definitely get back to try their other dishes!

If you have a celebration of 10 or even more, you need to order the Grand Harvest! In case you are still starving after that, there are several other delicious meals to purchase. The Grand Harvest price 948 ringgit or around $300 Singapore dollars.
