The restaurant is similar to most other restaurants of this type, from far it had been just another shop in the pub. Once you get near to the entrance of the shop, you're greeted with perfectly thought out decoration, beginning at the front end of theshop. There exists a chain of Chinese tea pots hanging higher up and cascading down with drinking water flowing in one tea pot to another in the chain, culminating as a soft plane into a small seafood pond! Next to leading doorway is their dessert region. The front doorways remind you of these big mansion you find in the original Chinese film setting (believe Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon). On entering there exists a walls on the left hands side decorated with older Chinese wine pots. All of those other downstairs areas have become nicely fitted out with solid traditional Chinese style decor, including the seats and tables. This give a very slow paced life with a "zen" sense to it. Upstairs had been similarly matched with the great information artwork, Chinese lanters and wooden carving. Over our three visits, we only had one dish which didn't match all of those other dishes that we appreciated (1 out of 18?) All of the main dishes are very reasonably priced (volume for just two or three meals was on the tiny serve aspect) and tasted tasty. The dessert had not been one would anticipate from the typical Chinese restaurant-osthmanthus flower scented jelly with hint of green tea extract and goji berry. It certainly finished the foodstuffs on an extremely refreshing note. Along with friendly wait staff (specifically the dessert Lady Supervisor) the place had not been noisy and for the classy fitments used it had been a reasonably "wallet friendly" spot to dine. That has been why we kept returning.

They will have expanded their menu and how big is resturant. (seating capacity) The inside downstairs is similar to Chinese restaurant movie scene with a wall of Chinese wine jars, plus some Chinese style lanterns.. Good unique selling point. It's a beautiful environment to web host ameal, but foods fare, there's scope for improvement Price wise it is a little bit on the high part, but again, the atmosphere is good..

Dining within an exquisite environment aka Ming Dynasty include a lot more flavours to the sumptuous menus. Lemongrass pork chop and rice dumpling can be an all season preferred. Friendly staffs & most importantly meals are served popular and fast.

Happy we tried this location for supper and the ambience and decoration have become nice. We tried a number of meals - fried beef kway teow, western-design creamy prawns, chilli sauce steamed tilapia, minced meats french coffee beans and mushroom with bean curd. Overall, good foods and services.Parking is simple in front. We shall visit again!

We chose this eating place because, in addition to the good local testimonials, it was fairly near our resort (not in Old or even Main Ipoh), and we have been so happy we did. In addition to the great decoration, and the wonderful welcome on both nights wewent there, the meals was great and genuine, and we completely the meals and our evenings there.

Brought my mother there and we tried the Chinese sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaf. The taste was just amazing, and far better than others we'd previously tried. The employees was friendly. The atmosphere and decoration in the restaurant is among akind, very special and reminded us of these traditional Chinese Kung Fu films.
