We chanced upon this lovely a few months old restaurant inside Tanjung Bungah, Penang. Up to now there have been only 2 good options for a steak in Penang - Ferringhi Grill and Steak & frites. We've a straight better one with very much reasonable prices. Greatambience, elegant service, completely done steak with great choices of wines to complement. Their portions are usually generous. Once you order house wines by the glass almost all restaurants in Penang possess the habit of helping you in a little wine glass with little portions of wines whereas this place achieved it in course like the method that you get it once you order a good wines by the bottle. This is really amazing. 210 gm Wagyu costed RM 121.00. Penangites have to patronise this location and ensure it is a successful eating place that can continue & on for a long time as our house grown steakhouse. Actually their other meals ( soup, salad, Grilled Salmon, Tuna etc were superb ).

First time using the food here, it’s fab! Everyone think it’s great. Appetiser, soup, steaks, and wines, all good. Personnel is effective and friendly. Recommended invest Penang!

We were view seeing a month or more previous and found the home that I lived among 1980 and 1982. Right now this is a nicely setup Steakhouse cafe. When I informed the staff that was my old home, they were even more thanhappy for me personally and my partner to take a peek around. We made the reservation to come back for dinner inside a month or more (after an excursion to Langkawi and Koh Lipe). The restaurant is rather fresh and has a pleasant feel. The personnel were all comfortable and accommodating and the meals that people were served looked excellent and was tasty. We noticed a few of the foods being deliverd to close by tables also it looked great too. We'd the lobster and my partner, who is the seafood lover, thought that it had been cooked to perfection. The restaurant will be ideal for a good family meal, for a particular occassion, or for a celebration of sorts. In the event that you enjoy hot hospitality and great meals, supply the Viking Steakhouse a go!

This restaurant is really a total ripoff. Waited a lot more than one hour for a ribeye also it taste saltier compared to the seawater. The risotto are usually tasteless and the rice flavor natural and undercook. The combined mushroom flavor salty and the cheese macaroni are usually dried out and tasteless.Worst cafe ever really tried in Penang. Awful service. The waiter do not know the proceedings at your kitchen. The waiter are usually usually confuse and he doesn’t even value anything you told him. Please avoid this eating place at all cost.

The atmosphere here's good especially if you don't like crowded place.The foodstuffs here are delicious specifically the beef steak.The tender and juicy meat will keep a direct effect in your mouth.

Being a correct Viking myself this eating place attracted me just like a magnet. Following a great stroll in George City we handled ourself with a Viking meal We ordered the salmon salad and scallops for beginner all excellent and the Oz Chardonnay went together withit nicely. My Sunshine she acquired pasta aglio olio with scallops because the lobster was not obtainable. I purchased tuna and questioned if it had been nice and reddish colored inside and the waiter demonstrated me an image of ideal prepared tuna on the walls. Oh nicely as feared it arrived well prepared. But to Vikings defence they offered a fresh dish and although much less perfect because the picture it was much better. I guess it had been not best because I believe the image showed Yellowfin tuna plus they just served regular tuna. They did provide us a free of charge desert and provided outstanding service so that composed a 4 star.

We arrived, celebration of 7, and were greeted by way of a very nice woman who was simply friendly but expert. At the table we'd men attending to us also it was very robotic, not friendly, so that they need some coaching steps to make customers feelcomfortable. Everybody ordered the steak and them all were cooked while requested, with succulent meats. I opt for bottle of reddish , Torbreck Shiraz that i am familiar with since it will match everybody. My partner paid the bill so when we got house I checked the expenses also to my astonishment they billed for your wine RM248 when this is often purchased from Jaya in Gurney Paragon for RM122. That is a complete rip off and we've no intention of time for the Viking

On my very first visit almost a year ago, it was very good; except for the purchase price.... very steep. On the next visit recently, it had been a disappointment. Is it possible to believe it.... we purchased 6 steaks upon arrival plus they just showed up one hour and ahalf afterwards. My friend furthermore commented...."I've had better steaks". For an excellent dining restaurant, you might expect first class service and meals. Will certainly not visit again.

The restaurant is merely off the primary road and there's parking at the medial side service road. Ambience and menus is fantastic and you wouldn't normally be embarrassed to sponsor visitors there. The food however, is merely OK, nothing to rave about. I purchased thechilli mussels, that was the highlight of the food. We shared the incredibly spicy clams (no caution on the menus), lamb (that is nearly a sheep, in line with the dimension and toughness) rack, the over salted rub fillet mignon, the greatly sauced beef ribs and the average rib eye. Very little option for dessert (no ice lotion). Our bill emerged in at over RM600 and we had been still billed RM30 for corkage. At these costs, there are better options in Penang.
