Service was terrible Worst type of toast ever (super dried with margarine and kaya) . Kopi nothing to shock either. Wasting time and energy to go over.

Urging regarding traditional breakfast, thus we found this upon the google research. It was surprise whenever we reach there as the tables and chair are all across the strolling lane. There are plenty of people currently waiting to end up being seated. After about a quarter-hour wait, wefound a desk. Ordering for food must also wait because as well crowded rather than enough waiter to assist us. After another 5 to ten minutes, we finally purchase our drinks and foods. This place is well-known for its Roti Bakar the original charcoal way. We purchase the specialized, Roti Bakar with half boil egg topping as well as the 4 jenis roti bakar. The roti bakar with eggs had been good and tasty. I really believe that they make use of top quality soya sauce on the egg to provide the additional kick. All of the Roti (loaf of bread) has been baksr to the proper tune because it is quite crispy and soothing for the throat. There are numerous forms of topping on the roti (breads), like kaya, peanut butter, traditional butter, strawberry. Therefore, if you dont thoughts consuming in a cramp location rather than so clean & tidy region, this place could be consider. The purchase price is reasonable. Regards

Way too many people and the waiter just about all didn't value you. You should stand beside the desk and waiting another people before having surface finish their meal .

I must say that is among 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒊𝒂𝒓 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈 kopitiams I've run into. It has apparently experienced business going back 60 years and much more, serving Hainan-design kopi and kaya toast out of this lean-to construction tucked into anarrow aspect lane (only 4m broad) off Campbell St. the erstwhile duty-free shopping road of the 50’s and 60’s. The limited menu right here of local kopi (espresso), teh (tea), roti bakar (toast) and gentle boiled eggs is really a staple from the bygone era but nonetheless comfort foods for the masses. Xoxoxo 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒔 𝒐𝒖𝒕: - The spic and period environment regardless of being within a back lane within the old section of town. - The al fresco character yet cooling within the shadows of the adjacent shophouses. - The hearty but no frills meals fare served up quite efficiently and swiftly. - Both dark and milk coffees have become decent. Requesting less sugar is recommended. - Perfectly soft-boiled eggs. - The charcoal-toasted breads smothered with butter and kaya (coconut jam) will be authentic and tasty. That it generally does not blow your mind. - Reasonably priced. - The dog owner himself prepares the majority of the food and drinks. - It is a dying business and an extremely precious legacy that should be conserved.

Visited this roadside stall for a straightforward breakfast. The place isn't amazing but cooling and clear. They serve excellent homemade kaya butter toast and fifty percent boiled eggs. Their homemade peanut butter is great too. Remembering their hailam coffee that's soclassic in both warm & iced. Fantastic breakfast with suprisingly low price. Highly recommended.

We went late early morning on Tuesday in order to avoid the group. Parking is really a nightmare for the reason that area nevertheless we had been fortunate to locate a spot not too much away. There is no queue and we walked direct in. Ordered the breads each and a halfboiled egg and espresso. Bread definitely great. Butter and kaya often an excellent combo. Half boiled egg has been nothing at all to shout about, quite normal. Coffee was therefore if you compare to espresso in Ipoh.

A must try out breakfast in George city. The Hainan espresso and toasted loaf of bread was made utilizing the old method ( charcoal). Food was inexpensive. Dont forget to use the nasi lemak aswell. Open early as 8am and shut on Sunday

Total breakfast (all-day) experience that teleports visitors back in its history. No better solution to reminisce the nice old days
