If you already like Penang’s heritage roads, historical center and interactive road art you will discover that Tho Yuen is similar to a period capsule that goes back in its history to the 1950s. Everything is authentic and incredibly effortless. From the outdated Chinese ballads tothe helping of exquisite bowls of dimsum, this small gem delivers on all fronts an excellent encounter. The Hargao is tasty 😋

We were 3 individuals so when one was an area, he ordered for all of us. There have been some plates that people knew plus some were our very first times eating. Program was quick. Unlike a lot of dim sum places nowadays, this is old fashioned for the reason that they broughtthe meals for you on a wagon, rather than self service.

My third option for dim sum in Georgetown. It really is okay but they have significantly more common taste compared to the ones in both other dim sum locations I visited, nearly exact same cost than Yong pin dim sum but much less refined, less good display. I compensated26 rm for 6-7 dim sum and an ice lotion soda can The atmosphere is ok. There's space to consume with ceiling fans, this is a bit warm but nonetheless ok, there are several Chinese customers, authentic environment. The area is busy however, not overfull on a Saturday. There exists a little bit of decoration on the walls for instance for Chinese New year The cleanliness appeared to be ok We didn’t see any menus, the dim sum charriots go by and you choose what you would like like at both other dim sum We reviewed (Tai Tong and Yong Pin) The meals quantity was ok The service is good, smiley and friendly, besides theysend you someone speaking English, You will get some short explanations concerning the dim sum you select. They mention the purchase price on a document before you when you select a dish like at both other dim sum areas I visited, so that you can count how very much you need to pay by the end, no service charges. Quick service. The value for the money is ok.

We were recommended to go to Tho Yuen during our stop by at Penang, therefore rocked up for lunch time, longing for dim sum....phrase of warning, at 12.30 they'd sold-out! Other than the tasty char sui pastries, which we attempted and adored. It's rough and prepared, however the food is wonderful - our waitress suggested the mix fried rice noodles and vermicelli and the ginger duck mix fry, both which were delicious. Assistance was friendly and amusing, and the costs only 29 R, therefore a total bargain. The next time we head to Penang, we'll end up being promptly for the dim sum!

Had noodles lunch time today snd I has been schocked at the amount of cleanliness in your kitchen as I walked move it to attain the toilet. Your kitchen was filthy and cooked meals was positioned on a dirty desk. I also saw 2 big cockroaches runningon your kitchen flooring. After taking to an area friend I was informed this cafe was closed two times by Pg foods inspector for unhygenic problem. Therefore becareful of the meals you consumed there. Won't go again.
