This is the first-time i have written a negative review on website or somewhere else for example. I eat out in dining places daily and also have never eaten like tasteless, waterdown and greasy foods. The seafood was simply batter with some overcooked and watered down seafood and gentle crab. my girl had a seafood gratin that tasted enjoy it was prepared in the microwave. A genuine disappointment. A pricey meal that has been disgusting and a supervisor who was struggling to deal with the complaint professionally. An extremely disappointing meal that sadly spoilt the evening.

The welcome was great. Great collection of food. High end of prices for the area. CUSTOMER SUPPORT was great. And that’s where it halted. Hubby ordered Russian Poultry. It was quite bland. AND I purchased the salmon steak. Not merely was it more than cookedand filled with bones. Very disappointed

40-60rm for a steak? So it is like 12-20rm I tesco for a rump/sirloin respectively. I'll make it myself thanks a lot. At red garden on the street for that cost I could buy... everything.

The restaurant is old fashion with ship styles. The aircond is very cold. Overal foods is fine. But a little salty for sizzling and lamb chop.

Despite a few of the negative remarks on here we made a decision to give it a try, due mainly to historical understanding of the Ship here and in KL. The service was friendly whenever we arrived and the ambient temperature was reasonable, so not too cold. Idecided to choose the signature dish of the black colored pepper fillet steak and the spouse had a sizzling edition. Both were sensible and tasty along with being reasonably priced compared to various other places nearby. The decor might be a bit dated, however, not shabby and the restaurant is actually popular with locals. Don’t expect silver program, but if you need a decent steak then this can be a decent place to begin.

Don't wanna audio bias but the meals, staffs and atmosphere is actually excellent. Hats away from to these people whom are staffed right here..they definitely create a lots off distinction with regards to value add. The meals has high standards of flavor, display and of coursethe hygiene component. It would be an extremely recommended place in case you are after sizzling Poultry and lamb chops...The restaurant isn't located in reduced location but I really believe surely it might be easily situated. Kudos again...

Great location in town.More developed restaurant having experienced existence for over 30 yrs.We visited towards end of December 2019 also it had a promotion menu where for the ala carte cost of the steak ( rib-eye at RM72.00 ) you obtain the soup, mangosalad and the dessert of cheese cake. Got my corn soup transformed to its signature oxtail soup at a supplementary charge of RM7.00.Oxtail soup was excellent using its spices and served inside the right quantity. The Australian rib eye cooked medium rare was juicy, tender and tasted excellent with its sauce. If you value steak that is one place you ought not miss. Staff services was excellent and friendly.Street car parking is a problem. It is advisable to walk there or even park a length away. There exists a public carpark straight opposite Cititel Hotel at Penang Street.

Starters have become small, as inside they came on just a little glass saucer, I had the see plater beginner, which contains, 3 small prawns as large as your small finger end a 50 pence size little bit of salmon and the smashed up item ofcrab stick there is also a bit of octopus but We didn't find that. This is on a bit of wilted lettuce leaf the hole factor was after that smothered in mayonnaise with chilli powder blended though it. I had 3 low quality of the frozen kind lamb chops the veg was frozen mixed handbag type move at your personal risk

I actually called from SG in Tuesday afternoon 14/6 to book a desk for 5pax for my father’s upcoming birthday celebration. Here's my conversation: Hello, I'm calling from abroad to produce a reservation. The Ship (TS): okay Me: may i get your name?? TS: whydo you will need my name?? Me: Nvm, I’d prefer to make a booking on the 28th of June for 5pax. TS: We don’t get reservations. We just do walk ins. Me: why not?? Imagine if I traveling from abroad and can’t get yourself a desk when I arrive?? TS: we only carry out walk ins. Me personally: Why can’t you get reservations?? TS: I don’t need to explain to you exactly why we don’t get reservations. What if somebody can make reservations n don’t arrive?? Me: give a grace time period, then quit the table after?? TS: %#^*#%! Hokkien vulgarities. Myself: I hung up. Thank you for this type of lovely experience. Happy I didn’t bother and I'm pleased to book another eating place. I ain’t returning to The Ship Jalan Bahari (ever!!!) Not investing another penny here. All the best and all the absolute best in your organization. NO THANK YOU!!!!
