Very nice Cafe at the heart of George Town, however in a quiet road, so it makes an extremely good spot to relax. The proprietors were very pleasant and produced us feel comfortable. The initial night in Penang my partner found this lovely home-style/cooked meal in the center of George Town. The cafe was situated on a side road, quiet and similar to the bygone time. Lisa and her hubby offered German and Malay foods on the menus.We ordered the Gado Gado salad with home-made peanut sauce, veggie fried rice, and deep-fried cauliflower. All delicious. Lisa is really a German wedded to a Penang nearby. Her Malay meals were tested recipes from her mother-in-regulation and the husband's family members. Her husband is really a musician. Lisa and Remy work an excellent cafe here!! We do a cooking course with Lisa, and prepared Malay design vegetable curry (furthermore there is a chicken choice), Roti Jala and Ondeh Ondeh (coconut dumplings) for dessert. The class reported to be 2.5 hours, but easilywent over 4 hours - with all the current chatting and laughs cooking with Lisa felt like cooking with an excellent friend! She actually is very educated with Malay substances, and we feel we've learned an abundance of cooking information. We loved the cooking food class and conference these wonderful people. Great spot to go once you wanna try regional Malaysian food. We'd Penang curry (poultry and vege) also it was amazing do-it-yourself curry. Big part with rice on a part. In case you are lucky the dog owner will have fun with some music. He could be talentedmusician and incredibly nice person. This is truly unique expertise for all of us! Visited this place 3rd time now, and attempted a variety of dishes. This cozy small restaurant is 30sec from the famous Love lane, yet very quiet place. They will have live music as well,and the proprietors -a very sweet few, are very friendly. The meals isabsolutely amazing, big portions. They serve really fine nearby curries and for all those missing house, you can test their German dishes. (It is possible to select how spicy you need your food) The lemonades have become refreshing so in the warm weather that was the best option for me. Will certainly visit again 😄
