Great dinner at Thali. Eating place is air conditioned, employees are friendly and useful, the meals is authentic and there is a good range in the menus - vegetarian food. Worthy of a trip if you're likely to small India in Penang. Value for money aswell!

We visited for supper once. The cafe have different set menus for foods (express, Madras, special foods) with price distinctions. The rice has been half boiled along with other dishes were typical. Bought a spicy snack pack, which upset our abdomen. Needs improvement.

After walking through the majority of the downtown section of Penang Town we lastly dropped on this invest small India. Quite crowded with locals usually an excellent sign. Seating arrangements not really the very best but this had been a lot more than compensated by the meals. Good variety ofvegitarian foods especially Pandea meals. Garlic and onion not really found in dishes and really Vegan dishes available.

We enjoyed our go to. We arrived for a past due lunch. It was just a little chaotic but right down to earth. We'd some dosais and tandoor platter. We adored the rava onion dosai. Check it out! It had been super cheap and delicious. Great value, great food. We'lldefinitely go back.

Thali’s food is indeed good that people ate there twice during our 3 time stay in George City. The Thali plates have become tasty and quite large portions, and their naans are perfect, specifically the garlic naan! And the costs are very cheap for suchgood meals. Would keep coming back tomorrow once again if we weren't leaving. :)

The standard of food is good, however the service is similar to, you place the order, choose the Penang site seeing and comeback and hurray your meal is ready. And by mistake in the event that you order something among your meal, you'll get it bybedtime. The staff listed below are so ignorant that you are feeling like in case you are eating food here they r performing a big favour you. In every don't dare to order ala carte food here. Just order Dosa or Thali, else you need to wait around till death for the meals to arrive.

Actually disappointed with this particular place. We visited three years ago and practically returned every night once we loved the meals so very much. We eagerly awaited a come back and headed straight right here the moment we surely got to Penang. Seems lots of things havechanged and the area has really been down hill. First of all the service was simply weird, these were just fairly rude to us so when we asked just how much the rice was once we couldn't find it about the menu they simply kept showing us an image of rice in the thali page??!! The menus says the curries are enough to talk about for 1-2 people so when we don't possess huge appetites/ low quality when we have meals out that is a treat whilst backpacking we always share a curry. Literally everywhere we have been across Asia when we've shared a curry with rice and a naan each it has been well enough for all of us and we have been very full. The purchase price will be of a curry that needs to be big enough to talk about. Right here the curry came within what could just be referred to as bowl I would be prepared to get with a thali. It had been tiny! I am before and had bigger bowls, on journey advisor you can find photos of bigger bowls and I've observed others within with curries in bigger bowls. Personally i think they just had a concern with us sharing that is ridiculous because they have no idea your appetite/ spending budget or just how much you've consumed that day time. When it arrive it was truthfully bland and tasteless. It's just bad support and in the long run they did themselves out there of repeat custom made here as we decided on returning for something bigger while more of a delicacy before we left. Whenever we asked they simply had an mindset and stared at us whilst we ate producing us feel really uncomfortable.
