We were told to end up being there by 6pm ie if they open for supper. We obtained there at 610pm and got the final table. By 630pm there is a queue. With the brand new SOP, the tables are well spaced and the eating place is clean. Weordered the fried roast pork that is really yummy, mix fried potato leaves - the tad salty but flavorful, seafood tofu and the fried poultry which we saw nearly every table purchased that, that was okay. Food has been served within ten minutes and general really yummy knowledge. Will certainly make this an end when I'm in Penang next.

Authentic home cooking. Attempt their signature twice roasted pork, curry seafood, mix fried Kang Kong with sambal prawns, filled with their daily twice boiled soup.

Among the best Chinese restaurant inside Georgetown ! I’ve always thought foods around Georgetown was just a little more than rated - as it’s mainly tourist attraction. However, not Tek Sen. Their dishes were wonderfully tasted! We purchased the Salted Vege Tofu soup, Double Fry pork,Lovely Potato Belacan Veggie & braised black bean pork. It was the very best meal we’ve ever endured in Penang! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Following the reputation, we anticipated MUCH better... The sweet & sour pork was OK, however, not great. Certainly not really around the standards we've in Kuala Lumpur. The clay pot ribs were tough, and the bones were so small as to become a problemwhen eating. The white rice portion was tiny -- easily the tiniest we've had this week in Penang.

Proceeded to go over for lunch time. Waited about 15mins for a desk, didn't wait lengthy for the meals though. Ordered the assam grouper fish, crispy pork and signature tofu. I have to say the seafood and crispy pork will be nice but nothing at all to rave about. The signaturetofu however is fairly nice, very clean and silky. For the purchase price, I would state it isn't very cheap to cover MYR87 for 3meals for 2pax because the serving is actually just enough for just two 2. Good to use when there is no queue.

The initial night we're in Penang we walked by and saw the entire home, plus ppl are prearranged waiting to obtain in. So we made a decision to try it the very next day. And we do for another 3 days! The meals is tasty anddelicious. Several locals along with ppl from around the globe were eating here. Quite impressed.

We somehow managed to get here for lunch without line. Extremely impressed and a significant delicious dinner. It feels really old-school and saw plenty of locals there, not only tourists.
