Having heard that Hong Kong-based chain have been mentioned in the Michelin help, I was expecting a good meal. I was dissatisfied. There were two folks and the meals attained different times. If you ask me, that is the indication of a badly organisedkitchen. My friend got the beef noodles and mentioned they were great. We shared a plate of wanton soup also it was just typical. I acquired the duck rice. The duck has been okay (aside from plenty of broken bones) however the rice had been undercooked and dry. Service was good however when it found paying the costs there was an extended wait between handing on the money and finding our change.

Visited this put on the first time of Lunar New Yr because there have been simply not a lot of choices within the mall. It tasted horrible and had been vastly over-priced. We purchased the steamed bun with custard egg yolk that was not completely cooked however. We couldstill start to see the pastry in the bottom! The wanton is meant to function as specialty, but we're able to inform the prawn inside wad not really fresh at all.

I have had much better! Wantons had been bland, soup was nevertheless pretty good. Dim sum, char siew, siew yuk were simply average. Definitely as well pricy for the common food. Disappointing!

Most likely the wantun noodle simply by the street is way better than this "Tasty" place! The portion method tooooo small for 16.80rm before taxes!! and in addition your stir-fried beef rice noodle is certainly even most severe. 25rm++ FLAVORLESS, beef isn't cooked AT ALL!!

We went there because we liked the branch inside Hong Kong. But this wall plug provides ruined the brand. Food is costly and bad... Just what a shame

The food taste just like the chain that I used to frequent when transiting in Hong Kong airport. The wan ton noodle broth is really a unique flavor that you only enter Hong Kong. The BBQ pork and Roast pork noodles possess quite generous portions ofmeat. The BBQ pork and Roast pork has been nicely marinated and tender. The noodles are usually springy, like the types we enter Hong Kong. We furthermore acquired the beef brisket noodle soup, generous tender meats in a hearty soup. The piece de resistance of my visit was the roast goose. Not really frequently found outside Hong Kong, I discover the roast goose right here less fatty compared to the types I experienced in Hong Kong. Arrive early because the Roast Goose and Roast interface sells out pretty quick. The lower one fourth of roast goose price me RM75.

Some Penangites such as me are just in love with wonton noodles (WTM). Most are unaware that the dry edition of WTM is quite most likely a Malaysian or Ocean development; you cannot find dried out edition WTM in HK or Guangzhou. In Malaysia, I believed that thereare 3 main design of dried out WTM - the light-color-soy up north (gradually disappearing), the dark-color-soy in main area, and the chilli sauce down south (Singapore prefers chilli ketchup while Malacca utilizes unsweetened chilli sauce). The very best item on Tasty Congee & Noodle Wantun Store is most likely their HK-style wonton noodle soup. Their menu will not offer as much versatility like their competitor in Cantonese design noodles who is able to mix and match various meats together with your WTM. However, until I could get Mak Kee's (initially from Main HK) WTM in Penang, HK-style WTM served here's still good enough.

Went there once rather than to come back. The portions are little and overpriced. Their "well-known" signature Wan Ton Noodle had been simply average and tiny part. Had to order another dish to fill up my tummy. Not worth a trip.

Tried this cafe, but was disappointed. Regardless of being pricey, the laundry are average at greatest. The wanton soup has been terrible. No ingredients rather than taste whatsoever. So a great many other places to visit.
