Excellent break from the most common Chines/Indian/Malay suspects. Very extensive menus, although we both proceeded to go with beef pho and shared an purchase of fresh rolls. Happy with both. Attractive room and pleasant staff.

Chanced upon this spot when i was looking regarding a location to eat along with my hubby. Thought we would test it out for and am very disappointed with the assistance and food here. Very first the waitress got our order incorrect and the poultry feet saladwe ordered became sea food salad. Not merely did we need to wait around 30 minutes for the food, however when the food emerged, the seafood salad had been so spicy I possibly could hardly eat it. And the waitress and waiter didn't warn us of the longer waiting around time for the meals. The pho was simply so therefore and the Vietnamese springtime roll we'd was a touch too rubbery for my liking. All in just about all we shall not be returning for another visit. Total insufficient professionalism from the waitress and waiter. Not merely did they eliminate sauces from our desk when we weren't done, but there is furthermore no apology for incorrect order taken.

Beware. For 2 24 months they haven’t place beer on the drinks checklist. Why? Because in the event that you don’t ask, you will end up billed an exorbitant quantity. The duck salad had been very common, and the pork in caramelised sauce has been six small bones with plenty of fatand hardly any meat. Ours had not been an excellent experience here, especially once we had to insist upon a decrease for the beer cost. one star just because we'd to put someone to post the review.

I went with several friends and most folks knew what we wanted before we went. Between us, we'd the Vietnamese springtime rolls and small pancakes (starters), then your beef pho, the crispy pork and the huge crispy pancake that i thoughtwas the great thing up for grabs. Everything we'd was good high quality. If you are in a team, it could be confusing as the mains occasionally arrive prior to the starters. In overview, it's best once you learn what you're ordering.

I am not sure if they are authentic or even not cause I'm not a Vietnamese, however the meals are truly tasty. Went there three times within my 14 days holiday back my hometown Penang... discovered this gem unintentionally because the neigbour nyonyafood had been attempting to overcharge us on 2nd time of CNY (collecting with close friends), we walked right out of the nyonya location and proceeded to go into this location who provide a set lunch menus at Rm19.90 inclusive an appetiser, major and drink... it isn't about the cost that people went back, it's about the delicious foods. Recommended some buddy there as well whom all appreciate our eating there... will visit once again when am back Penang.

We visited this restaurant 2 times during our short stay static in Georgetown, both situations I had the Bun Cha (and springtime roll) dish. I furthermore got the Vietnamese iced espresso which was delicious. The restaurant provides really friendly staff that are really welcoming andthey put plenty of care into what they perform. The worthiness for money is great for what you obtain and the program is exceptional. Don't go by this authentic Vietnamese eating place in case you are visiting the area!

This restaurant is situated along a stretch of restored pre-war houses in George Town. Amongst just a handful of Vietnamese dining places in Penang, that is among those that stick out with regards to its variety along with authenticity. For anybody wholove Vietnamese 'pho' (we.electronic. noodles), its signature dish can be beef pho, although there is also poultry and pork variants. Along with its wide selection of ala carte choices, there is also a lunch menu coming in at RM19.90, comprising a primary dish + 1 side + 1 drink.

We went for afternoon tea. Ordered the rice rolls, a bowl of mango salad and a plate of dessert, The rice rolls were good and tasted authentic. I actually associate mango salad with Thai cuisine. It had been also tasty if you want a tart salad. Thedessert comprising 'tang yuan' small mochi like balls manufactured from glutinous rice served with yam parts and sago in the light coconut lovely broth. it had been okay. Overall, I was pleased to eat something that had not been regional to Penang but nonetheless delicious.

Having read the right reviews concerning this restaurant, we visited try some food we have been craving. The cafe isn't overly large nonetheless it was full whenever we went. What was unexpected was that there is only one woman serving, taking orders, providing meals anddrinks and manning the tills aswell. The meals itself was good. We purchased beef noodle soup for me personally, vermicelli with springtime rolls for the missus and refreshing rice document rolls to talk about, all washed down with Vietnamese espresso. I enjoyed the pho but wished the chef hadn't used so very much MSG when i was feeling thirsty all night after the dinner. My wife cherished the crispy wrapping of the springtime rolls. The Goi Cuon has been fresh but please be aware they assist it with Peanut Hoisin sauce. If you like to dip the rolls into Nuoc Mam when i do, you need to request the frazzled waitress to create it.
