Searching for a hawker encounter for supper and analysis pulled up “Presgrave road” - I was a little apprehensive as zero website reviews for an extended while! We were amazed by the number, and the flavour of the foodstuffs was incredible. Penang has starteda “desk fee” - in the event that you don’t order a glass or two, they cost $1 MYR pp. It is a small surcharge for a selection table. And the beverages are affordable. Easy and secure to navigate as a website visitor.

Would really recommend the Char Kuay Teow in the event that you come here. Not merely it tastes excellent, the hawkers are actually kind and friendly as well.

There's prawn mee or loh mee to pick from. Try both when you can. The Loh mee has been great! Discovered that their home made soya bean milk had been pretty good too!

Roadside foods stalls with affordable prices. Very crowded during meal periods. The satay was among the cheapest that I could find in Penang. Perform take note you need to pay a little fee in the event that you bring beverages or dessert from close by coffeshops.

Quite near to the Komtar bus station/purchasing centre. I came right here on a Saturday night time also it was very occupied. I didn't have an excessive amount of trouble getting a seat but some individuals asked to become listed on the desk (in a nice way). I'd acquired plentyof Asian food therefore i fancied some western meals and I observed on several photos that there surely is a western stall. I visited the stall and purchased seafood and chips for 10 Rm. The meals arrived at the desk and I compensated the 10 Rm. A woman from the beverages stall asked easily wanted to purchase a consume. They didn't possess a stout therefore i politely declined. The seafood and chips were great for the Rm 10. I'd come here once again.

It is a popular hawker street with a number of local fare. This is our 3rd check out in 24 months and was quite crowded. Plenty of tourists can see this place, therefore the advice would be to come earlier before 6 pm or past due after 9pm to enable you to find a table. Look for a table very first before you purchase your meal from different meals stalls. The 888 Hokkien Mee with a spicy reddish colored broth is exclusive but could be a turnoff for some. The Satay and Char Kway Teow have become popular. I discover the oyster omelette disappointing since it is costly and overhyped. It is possible to share a desk with others because the crowd is helpful. Overall an affordable solution to enjoy regional Penang fare, so long as you aren't sticky with foods hygience.

We shared several meals between us and all were great and cost a lower amount than £5 altogether. The blended satay was tasty as had been the Roast Pork Hokkien Mee. Certainly worth a visit. Disregard the negative posts - that is authentic quality food

Every item so tasty we returned 2 nights in a row. The prawn noodles and lor mee was superlicious! For 5rm, although it didn't come heaped with elements, rather it bought us dishes of wealthy brought us enough things that was excellent tillthe last drop. Despite having a queue, services was extremely fast and steaming dishes of noodles were offered rapidly. The stall closes on a thursday though. The pork and poultry satay were 1rm a stick and were served to u by way of a really nice fella. The gravy had been lovely. The lorbak situated in exactly the same shop space because the noodles was also yums. Freshly fried and associated with 2 various dipping sauces which proceeded to go well with one another. The fried poultry we felt was much better than those served at junk food restaurants. Flavourful and great till the bone! The push carts outdoors also served up great grub. The popiah has been 2 for 4rm and wrapped like 2 loose pillows. Excellent! But the deal with for me personally was the bun cart that served freshly charocoaled-bbq bakwa and floss in a bun that has been held in a steamer. Great snack to possess as u stroll back again to the hotel. So much food, therefore little time, and inadequate space in my own tummy...even with 2 nights. We didnt go somewhere else we had originally prepared on our itinerary. But no regrets!

We loved this Hawker Center, not definately not Komtar, because the foods was delicious and excellent worth, and the stall holders were welcoming. We proceeded to go twice for dinner, experiencing Char Kway Teow and poultry wings. Both were warm, fresh, therefore yummy. Will get busy, and remember that it's mostly open atmosphere if it rains.
