Food was okay, the tofu with lemon grass has been with a lot of garlic. I didn't flavor the lemon grass. Services friendly.

This quaint cafe serves traditional Viet cuisine that is a welcome change to the neighborhood Penang cuisine. The menus is rather extensive and serves foods beyond your regular beef pho noodles. The signature fried rice is exclusive and the starters had been good as well. We wentthere for lunch time therefore didn't try as much main dishes once we would have enjoyed however they looked fascinating on the menus! Finishing with a sluggish drip Viet style espresso to perform your meal is crucial. Definitely worth the brief walk from Sunlight Yat sen museum (<10mins).

Went here on the opportunity, hoping the food will be good plus they delivered! Happy with the meals we received, also to our taste, very authentic. We would come back if visiting this section of Penang again.

Went for lunch time on the Sunday and enjoyed some very nice tasting Vietnamese meals. We purchased The spicy lemongrass poultry and the beef pho that have been both freshly ready and delicious. The mix fried garlic veggies were just a little oily but were offered packed with stirfried garlic and crispy fried garlic, which actually enhanced the taste. Ended the dinner with nice tasting Vietnamese coffee. The restaurant was quiet since it was Sunday lunchtime but this didn’t detract from the service or food quality. Definitely recommended.

In case you are in Penang and craving for Vietnamese food, search no further. The foods is as authentic as possible get. The dog owner and employees are usually of Vietnamese origin. It includes a nice homely atmosphere becoming housed in a Peranakan home. When we werethere, it had been for late lunch. Therefore there were few guests. Somewhat quiet, that was nice to chill. We'd the beef noodles (what else), springtime roll and Vietnamese ice espresso. The noodles arrived piping hot. Another must try item may be the pancake-crispy externally with plenty of golden mushroom. The purchase price is slightly higher. For high quality food, this is appropriate. I suspect getting in a touristy place, the rent does not come cheap.

I went out with the household for a cosy supper in Saturday evening and we opt to have just a little immersion in the neighborhood Vietnamese cuisine. What we dived in has been a genuine horror! The eating place was generally empty and that has been not really a goodsign, the surroundings is nice a little dark maybe but Okay in overall. We purchase an array of starters to talk about and several mains: fried springtime rolls quite bland and bad of filling, some refreshing spring rolls (inside U.K. we contact them summer rolls) which were fundamentally all noodles no proteins inside, fairly simple dish so nothing at all too complicated, both offered with some poor nice chili sauce. We purchased a Banh Mi to talk about, it’s essentially a sandwich with pork meats inside. The loaf of bread was dry and possibly a century older, the pork had been tasteless and dried out too just like the soil of a monk sandals and all has been filled up with raw veggies therefore very much coriander that my eye were tearing. As major we purchased a rice arranged that was really common and the pork, just protein inside was obviously prepared and reheated. A beef soup noodle, watery sufficient reason for raw veggies served privately, the beef inside it was generally a minced meats patty actually unsettling for the view, looked liked dog meals in stock. Personally, i purchased a spicy pork stew with a aspect of rice that I certainly not received. After all of the starters have already been served and another two mains nearly been ingested the waitress informed they go out of RICE! After all how could it be possibile? An Asian cafe run out of whitened rice seriously, it’s as if you go in an exclusive beach and they go out of sand xD So to accomplish not loose additional time I ordered a mix fried noodle dish also it had been awful, tasted like quick noodle also it contained more natural veggies. I can’t contemplate it a seafood noodle due to the fact weren't seafood inside, to end up being categorized as seafood noodles have to contain at the very least three different types of seafoods but I hardly discovered 3 prawns and 3 little squids. Most likely not pricey but certainly was not worthy of at all, decadent and concealed downtown and HIDDEN it’s how will be suppose to be definately not customers. Highly not recommend.

No complaints like this tiny restaurant. Meals portion is really a bit little though. The summertime Spring roll needs even more shrimp or larger shrimp. They promoting Vietnamese coffees and 3 in 1 but a little pricey.

Myself and my boyfriend found this restaurant after reading through good evaluations but we were really disappointed... We ordered springtime rolls and prawn cakes to start out and a beef and poultry pho. For reasons uknown both pho arrived first? This is really weirdas we'd asked for another items as appetisers. When I inquired the waitress why she mentioned the appetisers were arriving? Which they did five minutes later. Strange. Certainly they do not know very well what appetisers are? The worst thing concerning the meal was the chicken Pho. It had been horrible. Generally a bowl filled with dry (old tasting) poultry, bland noodles and drinking water. It got NO flavour. I acquired to deliver it back again. Usually Pho includes a tasty share with herbal treatments and slices but I’m sure this is just water 😂 Also found it quite strange that the Pho was served with oranges? Not really lime. I have already been to Vietnam and consume Vietnamese a lot far away and I have by no means noticed this before. It wasn’t a good combination. Would not recommend.
