    Simply returned to Penang for my annual Chinese New Year holiday so when usual, had to obtain my Poh piah fix. Filled up with crab meats, turnip and magic formula sauce. Melts in the mouth area! The stall reaches unassuming "Padang" (industry) situated at Dato Kramat region.We were there prior to the stall opened at 1pm but individuals were already investing in orders. It's will get really busy so anticipate to await your popiah. It's well worth the wait!

    As schoolboys we used to routine to Padang Dark brown to consume the popiah. Through the years the flavor has not transformed although one barely sees any crab meats anymore. You need to order a particular and pay even more to obtain extra crab meats but it'sworth it. The turnip continues to be quite moist, succulent and combines well with the towkua (soya bean cake). It is a very easy dish but very tasty.
