Best authentic Japanese Foods within Penang! Highly underrated, among the concealed gems in Georgetown. Restaurant Proprietor is Japanese, over a decade & chef has been around Shangri Una. Would revisit again.Meals had been exquisite, detailed yet tasty. Brushed my old viewpoint about Japanese Food. That is real High quality Japanese Food with the majority of elements flown from Japan. Iberico Pork Udon is fantastic with generous part. Salmon Temaki melts in the mouth area with Sakura Ginger offered. Gyoza is great pan-grilled, hand covered with Orange Yuzu Sesame Essential oil Vinegar. It surprised me to notice such details oriented chef along with his care actually to dipping sauce. Saba Don is usually my preferred among all, grilling simply on pointe where Saba's fish fat under the skin simply melts in the mouth area. I in no way tasted Saba fish that's so tasty rather than dried out. Grilled Shishamo (smelt) seafood was also ideal! Grilled Rice Cake has been special, offered with seaweed & wasabi however, not for me personally (hard texture externally).Very peaceful, serene, peaceful environment for dining. RM120+ for just two throughout a weekday dinner with all the current meals above with green tea extract. Service staff was useful and superb.
