For the nyonya kuih dimension, the purchase price, and the taste, I'd price it as a hype, quite overpriced. We was expecting better flavor (not saying it isn't tasty) and at the very least 20-30% larger portion per item at that price. At the favourserved, I could have better taste kuih someplace else. Not one the less, the surroundings isn't bad. the purchase price speaks.

We came here to use some Nyonya meals, especially since this location is known because of their sweets and snack foods. You move in thru your kitchen, which is a excellent because this is this old eating place. We enjoyed our gentle lunch here

Extremely expensive kuih because the portion is as well small! Kuih also usually do not taste good. Very disappointing.

Overhyped rather than representative of real Nyonya Kueih. Part minuscule, ridiculously priced. Kueh Lapis insipid colour, almost no santan taste. Exact same with another Kuehs. Worse has been the Assam laksa that was included with no garnishing ,no seafood, just pure Assam fruit juice. Please prevent this tourist trap, ought to be removedfrom set of recommendations inside the Baba Nyonya Heritage booklet..

Tasty kuih nyonya. Suggested by one Penangite aunty. The shop is older that offer a nostalgic atmosphere. Entry is from your kitchen. The complete interior feels antique. The kuey is delicious. However the portion is little for the purchase price. Almost same cost like eating atNyonya Shades in KL.

A must go to for us in every our penang journeys. It really is so good that people do not just dine in but additionally have plenty of takeaways. The range is great. Flavors cause you to smile. Authentic tastes. Services is good too. Simply make certain youdon't go too past due as they will undoubtedly be sold out

First-time here as strongly recommended by locals, indeed the taste is really as described - wealthy and flavourful (with generous using virgin coconut milk). Their laksa is equal great and the part is just nice in case you are targeting light and tea break-ishdelights

Enjoyed the afternoon speak to friends and near family members. Simple yet elegant deco. Great local coffee to opt for the Nyonya koay. Mainly locals delights which are suited to us well for a day tea. Smallest rempah Udang ever consumed. 🤣 Place ideal for meetup chat . Not really noisy since it has higher ceilings. Air-conditioner just upstairs. Friendly and obliging employees. Parking, shouldn't be a problem because so many time there's an attendant to aid.

We'd Asam Laksa, Pai Tee, Nasi Lemak, plus some Nyonya kuih. All tasted excellent! The asam laksa isn't as potent as Atmosphere Itam's laksa but nonetheless quite thick and an excellent balance of sour/lovely. (rm6. 50) Nasi Lemak's rice is quite fragrant anda tiny bit sticky (uncertain if they combine glutinous rice in?) includes seafood and prawns (rm13.50) Kuih muihs are priced from 80cents to under rm2 a bit. Pai Tee is delicious (can't remember just how much). Air-con seating area obtainable upstairs, and some tables downstairs if you like the nyonya home vibes.

Will generally pay a trip when I'm in Penang but this time around it was completely different. The kuih will become miniature, cost remains unchanged. I am aware this is a hard period after MCO however the size is as well over. Much appreciate in case a hike of10-20 cents and continues to be the standard size
