We unfortunately chose this location for the evening meal because the intended Resturant we wished to try was closed. Big error. We were served one glass of tea prior to the menu was presented with. I ordered duck that was just Luke warm my hubby ordered afish seafood broth that was in edible. That's stating something as he could be not just a fussy eater! On requesting the costs we were billed for the tea, wet wipes which we didn't require and government and service cost. Worst meal we've ever had

A chinese restaurant close to Garden Inn resort @Penang Road, Penang acts simple meals yet fulfilling hungry stomachs. It even acts Chendol equal to those by the roadside....yummy tasty. Why sweat beneath the sunlight and queue...when you can eat within an air conditioning restaurant?

I have already been eating here for a long time. The meals is consistently good. Greatest dish may be the suckling pig. A distinctive dish may be the catfish soup; a soup prepared with Chinese herbs.

From outside it appears like hundreds of other dining places, once inside and considering menu and meals being served at other tables it looked as though it may be very exclusive. When speaking with manager and when foods arrived it became really special. 4 ofus cannot decide which of a number of pork and duck meals to possess. The manager wanted to supply one dish with a little level of each for an acceptable price. Highly recommended. Nearby to Cititel Hotel

Were planning to get one of these place across the corner. Fortunately it had been full. May Backyard Palace was a genuine find. Huge menu. Superb program. Every dish was outstanding. The Combination Hor Enjoyable was the standout. Among my favourite Cantonese meals, and the very best I'vetried. Highly recommended.

Worse location ever! The restaurant decoration has gone out dated (pictures looked a zillion moments better), food had bad presentation and tasted horrible. The worst spot to go. They ought to either turn off or refurbish it for the costs charged. Whatever is stated before is nottrue!!! Even worse place I've ever been to.

We found this restaurant specifically for it's roasted suckling pig. Had not been disappointed. Your skin was crackling since it ought to be and the meats, moist and succulent. Additional dishes that people ordered were even more averaged however, not bad. However, the superstar was still thestar. The owner is quite friendly and spending some time to have a talk. The advisable thing is you do not necessarily have to order the pig beforehand. They do offer this dish in portions. For all of us, it's always the complete pig, but then almost always there is at the least seven of us to take it!

May Garden In no way disappoints! The suckling pig was cooked perfectly. The crackling epidermis was prepared crunchy and tasty, the meat was gentle and tender melt in the mouth area. The roast duck has been perfect. All vege meals were delicious! Their employees have become attentive, bottle ofwine they'll best up for you personally, tea also best up your cup. Exceptional service! Like this place and can of course return whenever we visit Penang once again! MANY THANKS May Garden!

We wanted a lighting lunch and ordered a single function of crispy suckling pig for RM40 as well as fried rice for RM15 explaining we wanted to share. When the costs came, the pig had been RM60 and the rice RM20. We elevated this and the dog owner claimed thatone assist would not have already been enough therefore he provided sufficiently for just two 2 people. We'd not decided to this and as the serve was sufficient it didn't contain much meats and certainly had not been a 50% greater work. And for $20AUD it had been dreadful value. Needless to say as others have observed we were furthermore charged for nuts that people didn't order or eat and towels inside a packet. He reduced the expenses for the rice along with other items however, not for the pig. That is clearly the owners dishonest business technique and so the restaurant ought to be avoided. Head to Tek Sen where in fact the food is excellent and value unbeatable.

We visited for dinner. We were amazed by the rate of service once we entered, ushered right to a desk, menus brought rapidly, a little bowl of a kind of nuts was positioned on the desk and a waiter instantly poureda glass of China tea for all of us. (We don't really look after this particular drink nonetheless it would appear churlish never to drink it.) Quite welcoming. A damp towel each, in a sealed handbag, was positioned on the table aswell. We ordered, the dinner arrived and was very satisfactory - before bill came. I came across we had been billed for the initial plate of 'nuts', for the two 2 Chinese teas, and for the two 2 towels. Now if you ask me, to place something up for grabs before guests, which has not really been questioned for and to charge for this is not the type of tactic to encourage clients to come back. It suggests if you ask me an insurance plan of 'get everything you can out of this customer, he'll just be here as soon as'! They're right, I'll only be there as soon as because for the others of our stop by at Penang we shall go someplace else in the wish that another place won't employ 'sneaky strategies' to obtain extra money! This is the plus side to Trip Advisor, that people can Arnold other potential prospects - watch out for the trap!
