We visited Gravity, the Rooftop bar at G Kelawai Resort, Penang, in 28th Dec 2019. I was really disappointed in the cocktail beverages quality. Therefore watered down, the Mango Daquiri I ordered had been tasteless, no mango flavor, simply ice n some bitters,it got a goodcolour but that has been all. The staff were polite and obliging. I requested for my beverage to end up being redone, the bartender has been very obliging but sadly he thinks a daquiri is an iceblend cocktail. I acquired to require sugar syrup, to include in in order that it had been drinkable. A Frozen daquiri can be an iceblend cocktail, but a normal daquiri isn't. The menu didn't state frozen daquiri. The bartender is going and learn the correct cocktail recipes. The ambience and view were spectacular but sadly the songs had not been. The singers, held apologising for singing out of tune. Sadly, i will never return there and can not recommend one to spend cash there on drinks right now there.

We booked beforehand and paid the RM 500 minimum invest a desk for NYE. We believed that for this cost, we would get a premium item. We were wrong. One table held dropping or tipping over beverages because there have been too many to match on the table simultaneously. There was hardly any drinks selection. No cocktails. We asked for a couple soft drinks too plus they initially said zero to the. They said they might do, for instance, a rum and coke, however, not simply coke. I has been gobsmacked. Ultimately they relented, and got about half one hour for then to provide a coke that ought to be a simple task for a bar. The music was much too noisy; the acoustics and audio quality were reduced. There was little opportunity for conversation between visitors and the mic suggestions sometimes gave me a headaches. Among the (much too) many “safety” guards kept standing at the rear of me, more than my shoulder, for most hours. He didn’t talk any English therefore ignored my obtain him to go. It took several requests to senior employees for him to really move away. I’m uncertain what their function was. They didn’t consider beverages orders or deliver beverages.
