If you would like good local food, however in decent eating circumstances (i.e. air conditioning, tables etc), consider attempting this place. That is recommended by way of a local whenever we asked for suggestions to try. Needless to say Gurney Drive food courtroom is close by, and there will bepeople that are ready to queue and consume in the sizzling open air atmosphere for some of the very most popular dishes around. But if you wish to try Chinese meals that opt for rice or noodles, Granny's Cottage is an excellent place to consider. We tried several meals here. Fried rice will be my child's preferred, and we also attempted the fried Bee Hoon (Penang edition). For meals, we ordered Marmite Poultry (marinated with Marmite needless to say), a bowl of potato results in, one claypot stewed pork stomach, and one bowl of fried toufu. We furthermore ordered two various kinds of soup. Plus homemade barley and lemon tea. All in, for a family group of five, we invested significantly less than RM 100 with this meal. My children's favourite would be the fried rice and potato results in. Chicken Marmite can be among their favourites. For me personally, the Bee Hoon and fried rice are excellent. I really like the stewed pork tummy, partly because I do not get to consume pork in Penang usually (it is a Muslim nation, and that means you won't discover pork easily, if you don't visit the wet markets). Would I return back there again? You will want to? But if you'd like Chinese food at actually cheaper costs, try the meals centres to find the best food.

We went here with some buddies to get great Chinese food for an excellent price. The dishes we'd were not bad however, not above average. Costs are okay if a on Penang island in any case, you can find far better Chinese foodfor exactly the same cost or less in plenty of places...

Pretty good Chinese real estate cook style dishes right here. I personally just like the darkish sauce pork and the soups accessible here. Drinks aren't good. Good spot to consume before next film at GSC or keep on shopping. Atmosphere : 3/5 Food : 4/5 Drinks : 2/5Cost. : 4/5 Service : 4/5

Incredibly lower prices and fine taste. The one thing to improve a bit is the staff mindset. Please attempt their tofu, among the best we attempted in Malaysia.
