It is a lovely quiet & calm cafe in the hustle & bustle of Georgetown Penang. Fabulous foods and a great selection of beers & spirits. Lovely spot to sit & chat watching the world pass. Do go!!

We went there mainly for the Currywurst like you cant discover that in asia also it was soo good. All of the food was quite swiss like and the employees as well as the owner were really welcoming and friendly.

There's shame in wanting quite a few familiar food, when travelling within Asia. Which means this is the location for several liking Swiss or German foods. The restaurant includes a unique internal with old clocks, fuel lights (a lot of them now electrical) and the menus is greatin selection of drinks and meals. The service was quick and very friendly. Unfortunately it closes in Sundays at 6pm and stays closed on Mondays, therefore we managed only 1 meal there. 😔

We found this fantastic pub/eating place down a busy aspect street. Dont request me to get it once again, I couldn't. The Paulaner sign drew me in and we were welcomed by way of a Swiss guy running the area. He was extremely friendly and we stayed acouple of hrs drinking German beers. Its dominated inside of by a massive time clock and a nice courtyard in the trunk. An extremely chatty host, good program, good beverage selections and the meals individuals were eating looked excellent too. A great come across and certainly recommend this location. Not overpriced either

If you’re in George City you need to visit this location, even if it’s simply for a cocktail or perhaps a beer. The building is fantastic, filled with historical charm plus some interesting antique pieces, including an enormous wall sized mirror rescued from the E&O resort. Theservice is impeccable and the meals excellent. If I happened to call home here this might definitely be my community.

My friends and We were casually exploring Armenian Road about a Saturday afternoon. The elements is so sizzling and we sensed hungry + drained following the exploring. There were different hipster cafes around but mainly selling desserts. We desired something filling. In some way we found thiscafe even though sign shows alcoholic beverages, they do serve basic foods to help keep you heading. We ordered Basic fries, 3 Creamy Seafood pasta and Iced Cappuccinos. Honestly, we wished to order more however the weather was way too popular we couldn't really concentrate on that which was on the menus. Shoutout to the man waiter! We randomly recommended to sit down at the courtyard desk ( i believe that's what it's known as ) and he did why don't we sit there and also started up the fan for all of us. A female approached our table attempting to become familiar with us, she was really friendly and she will check on us every once in awhile. Even supplied us with some maps and set of recommendations. Foods was good + beverages were refreshing especially with this overly sunny climate. I could say the service here's genuine. Stunning setting with the plant life and great ambience. I'm joyful we made a decision to eat right here and you ought to too.

We had an excellent dinner here. My partner had gluten-free of charge beef rendang on austrian-swiss rosti (an excellent fusion concept!), and I experienced Malay-Indo style Soto Poultry soup. Both had been terrific. The massive gravity driven time clock became a spot of fascinating discussion with the manager (proprietor?).We definitely such as this resto.

A great particular date at Edelweiss. Most likely the greatest Schnitzel I acquired for years (As an Austrian) that is really genuine. German beers, and when you are a good guy require Schnaps. The area has been visited from royalties to celebrities, but myhero may be the current Swiss owner, who runs the cafe with passion and love.

Hi , We visited your house twice and we cant your investment linzer Torte without lotion dish, I'm a enthusiast of Swiss and German dish, which place suits myself, I really like it. My boyfriend described your restaurent before, and he explained you havecheese fondue, and we made a decision to look for a day to stop by. My my my, that cheese fondue and linzer torte has been delicious, it had been beyond my expectation. You have got the very best swiss and german dish actually, as an area Penangite who like German and Swiss meals , and having trouble getting a Swiss Cafe. This location is literally serves tasty Swiss and German Meals, its pricey but definatly worthwhile, I'd like to choose another round 4 as well as 5 in couple of months time.
