Ordered ginkgo, reddish beans and another special dessert that is grass jelly along with fresh milk. Not lovely and a lot of soup. Prefer to have significantly more filling instead.

The area is packed but there are several tables on the road or in the shop. So long as you purchase the desserts, you can even order foods from additional stalls. We attempted several desserts; longan lotus soup, longan crimson bean soup andlotus seed longan soup and we like everything. It is not costly and the desserts are usually yummy. It is a great option from the usual carbonated drinks or espresso and tea. Test it out for!

The desert out of this shop had not been very special. We'd tried several varieties and had not been impressed with the options

This can be a famous traditional Chinese dessert shop situated on Kimberly street. We ordered the black sticky rice dessert soup, that is very hard found in Penang nowadays. The bean and the rice were well cooked rather than too sweet. Very tastyoverall.

There is a couple of tong sui shops throughout Penang and I dont think that one stands out anymore compared to the others? I think the advantage because of this dessert shop, is that opposite it, there's a famous duck noodle dish, and you also maybring your "outside dish" and eat in the shop. Would recommend the About Sugar and Gift instead. Probably wouldn't purposely arrived at enter this shop, but easily happened to go by and wanting a cooling drink, I'd stop by.

I hadn't tasted such bitter Almond tea for my entire life. It was previously way way much better than this. It appears the cook gotten the proportion totally wrong. So much for priding itself being the only real shop that sells it. No more missing it.

This is only a dessert shop, what's good concerning this is that we now have seatings available and the staff here might help you order other items from outside to be eaten here.

This shop is in the revived portion of Kimberley Street, off Penang Road. In the hey days, there have been many goldsmiths and clothing shops along these few streets which are parallel to Kimberley Street. Now, the night time becomes more popular with an increase of eateries. This shopis a Chinese dessert shop, ie you obtain the original sweet desserts soup and all, but this isn't actually the primary draw. The shop supplies the sitting space (therefore you order your desserts from their website), nevertheless, you are absolve to order all of the food from the many street vendors outside and over the shop. There are lots of of such shops along that stretch. As stated, the main attraction of the place is really a pushcart stall located simply by the roadside outside this dessert place. It sells delicious braised chicken feet. Needless to say, you can also order other areas of the chicken, just like the wings, drumsticks, innards, etc which are billed separately. You can't just have those alone, which means this stall also make kuay teow soup its staple. We ordered the kuay teow soup which itself was plain, however when added with the sweet soy sauce from the chicken feet, it had been flavourful. The braised chicken feet may be the highlight of the meal. It really is cooked such as way that the meat literally melts in the mouth area, unlike those that could be oversteamed within some dim sum places. We also ordered chicken wings and drumsticks to go along with it. Overall, i still choose the chicken feet.
