Great service ... i'm the standard consumer at the chulia courtroom . Penang best spot to hang out just in chulia court. 😍 greatest local food.. and great cocktails with the nice provider. I recommend the area very highly .

This was a good spot to view the traffic pass, we'd drinks here and lunch time, food really was good, beautiful salad. Great decor inside and helpful staff.

We ordered 2 bombay sapphire with tonic. We had been served inexpensive gin. When my companion elevated this with the barman, he denied it. This is even though we in fact saw siphoning beverages into different bottles beneath the bar. Not worthwhile. There are usually nicerplaces to get a drink in Georgetown.

A causal walk-in, attracted by the interesting seeking place. Western food is definitely ok-ish but Malaysian food (that is Malaysia, that is Penang but it appeared to be anything but..) is really a disaster. Satay offered without peanut sauce, watered down tasteless laksa (the most severe ever...), Meegoreng appeared ketchup laden and Char Kway teow nearly average. To add harm to insult, even with kindly protesting concerning the issues, no try was designed to rectify.

The staff was attentive however they need to give consideration and have to repeat the order in order to avoid misscommunication as we got several wrong order. Pizza had been okay but my pasta has been tiny bit bland. The eating place was nice tho

Visited today with my children including our 4 yr old. Atmosphere was amazing, staff were pleasant and attentive and the espresso and cake was excellent. Would go back again!

Think this place will need to have upped their video game a bit since a few of the reviews beneath. We visited several times for afternoon beverages during our amount of time in George City and liked it. We sat outside in the tiny, alcove terrace on Chulia Road andenjoyed a couple of hours with beverages watching the world pass. We didn't eat within the evenings but sampled the bakery offerings in the afternoon - wonderful cakes/desserts!

Excellent service. We emerged on the 31 of December 2020. We purchased pasta ragu and Greek salad. Very delicious and the pasta has been perfectly "al dente" The pricing is quite reasonable .I recommend it .

We constantly see chulia courtroom from expat penang team from Facebook. Therefore we decided to check it out. Book table for 4pax. Whenever we proceeded to go there we’re the only real guest. The program was poor. Need to repeat the purchase to the waiter. Waiter rang mobile phone andtook his cell phone and decline the decision while taking purchase. Our friend purchase samosa but sadly over fry its so difficult and she cant consume. We've soup to begin it had been great. Our main had been pizza. Unbelievable to hold back a lot more than 45 mins for the main. My friend request the waiter why such a long time. The waiter mentioned only 1 person at cooking area. How when you have even more tables? You cant tell your guest you possess one staff on your own kitchen. The meals was okay. However the service have to upgrade.
