The key reason why I give 4 stars was because I really like the surroundings and the coffee, but I was dissatisfied with my breakfast. The meals we ordered weren't tasty and unflavorful. I noticed dinner is wonderful right here, but I arrived right here for breakfast, I has been utterly dissatisfied. I couldn't even complete it. But when i said, the espresso was nice.

I had read about Dark Kettle Cafe however when we walked because of it looked like a espresso and dessert location. We were searching for our last Penang night time's dinner place and luckily pointed out that the eating place seating was within the back. The area is brightly lit, thoroughly clean and modern. Although mainly filled up with college-aged couples, there have been tables of families. The menus is eclectic and I honed in on Garoupa Fish marinated with miso and mirin glaze, served with garlic rice. It had been perfectly prepared tender and moist, most likely the best seafood I ate in Penang. The garlic rice had been delicious. Hugo liked his Spaghetti Lamb Eco-friendly Curry which appeared and tasted awesome. It had been a soothing and enjoyable meal. We finished up sharing the dessert. Their cappuccino has been i'm all over this. Our waiter was extremely friendly, probably because we understood him from his some other job. This business are hard employees! Whether you are taking a full meal or simply coffee and dessert, Dark Kettle Cafe delivers.

I'm likely to stay with this being truly a coffee shop, despite the fact that when I visited We didn't purchase a coffee (or perhaps a tea) but rather a good bottle of Australian craft beer. Yep, they really had Little Creatures accessible here, though not in fact on tap - I don't believe they have even any kind of taps here. That doesn't really issue because this place has plenty of charm alone. Delicious! I wandered at night cafe within my wanderings around Georgetown, also it looked like an excellent place for lunch time. (And an excellent reprieve from heat wave.) I acquired a roasted poultry sandwich and a chilly lemon honey tea. The tea had been amazing! Tasted like United states lemonade, I could've had several eyeglasses. The sandwich was great, but the ciabatta breads was extremely greasy, and managed to get hard to consume the sandwich without it dropping apart. Good tastes though and all of those other menu appeared mouthwatering. It's pricey on regarding 25RM for entrees, and around 10RM for non-alcoholic beverages.

We were here for an iced tea but eventually were left with having another breakfast. The breads looked excellent and we couldn't resist to possess a few of it. I had to request at least two times where my simple purchase of eggs & toast & croissant had been.
