We were taken up to this delightful cafe by our food guideline (Jeremy from Heritage on a Plate). With like delightful owners (staff), clean and beautifully prepared meals, it had been surprising that there is no more people there. We'd the inche kabin (fried poultry), threecoloured rice and the Rose Apple company salad. So a lot of the chicken we've had within Penang is cooked to death and dry out, while this is moist succulent and incredibly tasty. The Rose Apple company salad was so new and refreshing performing as an excellent palate cleanser. We desire we're able to have sampled even more of this genuine Nyonya Cuisine prepared with love. It is a spot we shall definitely be time for, so we are able to work our way through the menu.

It is a lovely setting to consume - clean and traditional. We'd rice and pineapple prawns that was super good! Great attentive service, man was friendly and informed us about Penang - discovered there is a free of charge shuttle bus! Would recommend.

Been here several times for supper and I have to say the foods is definitely authentic. Strongly suggested for visitors who want to experience an area nyonya food. The dog owner Bibik Chua will be friendly enough to describe the local peranakan lifestyle to my close friends. Will certainly come back again.

Authentic Nonya food. Friendly and attentive staff. Similar to food offered from mum’s kitchen sort of feel. Not very wow wow but great. Just like the curry chicken.

Ordered otak-otak, asam pedas stingray, cincalok omelette, udang masak nenas and kangkong belacan. All were tasty and tasty aside from the pineapple dish that is a bit too sweet. Great ambience and quiet environment.

Horrible experience for my sis and I actually. We ordered 6 meals and everything cannot approved as Nyonya meals, worst of most, we're offered with spoilt Ju Hu Char. Upon informing the waitress, she nodded and walked apart, as though it wasn't essential toaddress the problem. No apologies no one found check though the eating place got 4 tables with customers.Kangkung Belacan , trust me, it had been fried with chili oil rather than sambal Belacan. Gulai Tumis and Assam Pedals , generally it's curry paste with additional loads of glucose.Egg Belanda was such as fried egg with tasteless salt sprinkled with onions.Tau Ewe Bak was thus so only.Light rice not warm. The worst Nyonya foods we ever endured in our life time. Service 2/10 Foods 1/10

Peranakan food has already been among my favorite varieties of food since i have began traveling Malaysia more than about ten years ago, and Bibik’s Cooking area is among the more unique. The eye to detail and (organic) colors, and presentation constantly bring several surprised noises ofdelight, whenever I provide buddies and family-and that’s before they flavor the properly spiced and fried inche kabob, the nice and tangy temperature of the sambal petai, and the truly unexpected palate-cleaning delights of the rose apple company kerabu. I have developed to essentially appreciate the consistent competent hands of the chef, the heat, pride, and appeal of the dog owner, and the delicate individual flourishes (like this kerabu!), several forward-searching additions to the neighborhood cuisine that, for me personally, get this to place worth time for when I’m around!

They serve THE VERY BEST Nyonya Meals in this area, as per se. ESSENTIAL Try List will be Tau Ewe Bak, Otak Otak, Poultry Rendang, Jyu Hoo Char, Sambal Petai, Egg Belanda, Curry Fish merely to name a several. THE GIRL Boss cum Chef isdown to world aswell and serve their Customers within short time of period. Reservation is required to be on secure side in order to avoid dissapointment.

Fantastic restaurant, the setting is definitely welcoming and super clear. Food really was great and the provider has been friendly and polite. We liked the poultry (inche kabin) and our stink bean dish (sambal petai). Good to order several different dishes and talk about amongst your desk.Would go back whenever we visit Penang again!
