At MYR18.50 for the set lunch time - appetiser, major, dessert and beverage - Aunty Anne's is really a bargain for this regular of preparing and food preparation. The highlight for all of us has been the Nasi Ulam, a cool rice dish without less than 17 elements. It's fullof flavour, very fresh & delicious. Request Aunty Anne to perform through what she places in it.. This is different foods for a western palette, really limited to the adventurous. Don't expect a aspect of fries and a coke. The decision of drinks included are usually either Dried Fig-Consume or Serai/ Lemongrass Consume. Don't bring the youngsters, they'd dislike it, but also for us it had been a genuine highlight in Georgetown.

Such an genuine Nyonya gem. Although there's a limited selection of food offered, the laundry were prepared to perfection. Couldn't require anything more! A sensible entreé, mains and dessert, all for a inexpensive price. To best it off, section of the profitmade will be directed at charity. Aunty Anne is really a friendly woman who loves communicating with her customers and telling the older times tales of her childhood. Aunty Anne's had been the highlight of my 3-time food visit to Penang. A must-move for individuals who love genuine Nyonya food (I really do, as my father is really a Malacca boy!).

Patronized several times whenever we travelled to Penang. A must end for us, because of this authentic & inconspicuous eatery. Why? Aunty Anne cooks with devoted interest & endearment. She steadfastly choose her fresh pickings in the neighborhood wet markets. And make her dishes withaplomb! Sumptuous Laksa. Tried 2 versions. Assam & Lemak version. Both are heavenly sedap! Ritz (circular) crackers dip inside Otah paste (special purchase) One of its type - uniquely & specially available.. just here. Essential try otah concoction. Crunchy + sedap Nasi Ulam & single portion pei-tee may also be 'Out-Of-This-World' :) Really Yummy!
