Plenty of dim sum in Penang unfortunately originates from a single factory. It's the sad truth that people don't desire to believe-even a few of our old family favorites. :-( Through recommendation of a fellow website I made a decision to give Aik Hoe as visit.Restaurant style, but with dim sum still manufactured in your kitchen, i.e. not only heat up and served as their own-truly homemade from the couple old aunties and uncles that probably been their 30-years. Quite definitely recommend this place since it has several unique dishes you won't find at other areas. Enjoy!

Confident this place gave me food poisoning - a couple of hours of eating as of this place I acquired very sick. The meals didn't seem as hygienic as other conventional style dim sim restaurants. Service is nil, you obtain a serving tray and go tothe front of the restaurant to get your personal dim sims. The meals was average, I wouldn't get back to this place again you can find other better dim sim places which won't cause you to sick.

It's self service plus they arrived at your table after you have finished for you yourself to pay. I acquired 4 bowls of dim sum (with two or three 3 on a plate) with a pot of Chinese tea for 10 ringgit. It's cheap and it's really full oflocals, that is always a very important thing

Dimsum steamed perfectly rather than oversteamed till your skin fall off or becomes gooey. My favourite may be the pork roll, that is found very rare, thinly sliced pork rolled round a little little bit of turnip, pig liver and pig fat steamed in chinese wine.

We enjoyed this experience on our stop by at Penang, along with the food. This little restaurant is supported by the locals as a gathering place and we were told many have there been regularly for many, a long time. We went for breakfast and the foodis freshly prepared on the premises, you walk around your kitchen counter and make your selections, put on your tray and get back to your table. When fished the staff come and count the laundry that were used. Nice to be accepted because the only tourists having breakfast there, recommend you take action to if you want to go through the local food scene.
