Each room offers its characteristic. Antique needless to say. Check in was clean with a good and fresh compliment beverage. I asked for an area with a bathtub by emailing them very first, and thanks a lot for the fast reaction and was granted. Good staff andas normal, i always love the non-public touch of boutique resort. Location is great in the center of heritage sites.

We booked a family group suite that is a duplex area. This gave us large amount of personal privacy! We liked the look and renovation of the hotel that is a preserved older town house. The area is clear and spacious. The support staff are very pleasant andhelpful. We liked their great options at breakfast (western, regional styles) and also the afternoon tea that have been all inclusive inside our booking. The only real minor issue was having less hot water for bath. We were informed that the resort used solar technology and the time of our stay had been really cloudy and rainy. Therefore we could not need hot shower following a long time outside. Fortunate that Penang is definitely very warm therefore it's not really causing a large issue for the household. But it was very inconvenience for older people.

It is extremely difficult to find an excellent steak inside asia, either low quality meat, overcooked or even very costly.Menu has 2 products, 150g or even 200g. Beef was top quality and cooked when i ordered, med.rare on worst. Basic salad with a good mustard dressing.Cost $20usdwhich may seem higher for penang but provided quality of meal it isn't.Staff quite attentive and good wines by glass or even bottle.

We've just had an excellent time in Penang residing in 23 like lane. The ambience has been delightful. Th personnel were so type and helpful and helpful.My daughter really cherished the old colonial design with its authentic home furniture. It sensed homely and safe.Saved andyet in the center of things.The menus was limited by beef within an evening nonetheless it was very delicious.

The steak was great. You'll find nothing else in the menus, no soup, no salad (salad is offered with the steak, complimentary), no appetizer, no dessert. The only real choice is size, 200g or 150g.

We have been staying here for 3 nights on a trip to Malaysia and also have found the resort to be as described on the site. The refurbishment has already been done well to revive the buildings with their original designs and materials. Nevertheless, the areas are nicelydecorated. nicely equipped and incredibly comfortable. The staff are usually lovely and nothing appears to be an excessive amount of trouble. The breakfast carries a selection of cooked items (a good complete English) and the free of charge afternoon tea will be another plus.
