On our second night in Penang we met up with old friends. Chia Kwang Chye (today retired politician) my ex 6th form mate (discover chapter on 6th form / university ) got me out for tea. We recalled our times at English University Johor Baruand Kwang Chye delivered me up-to-date with present politics in Penang. Afterwards that night we fulfilled up with an increase of old close friends and were dealt with to a vegetarian supper at Zen Xin Vegetarian eating place ; this restaurant was situated in a historical area of the island, in an region known as Nagore Square. This is home to numerous beautifully preserved pre battle shop homes which had all already been changed into restaurants - hence the ambience was special and cosy. The vegetarian fried rice and char siew and poultry tasted so genuine that people were alarmed - we had been on a stringent vegetarian diet within our spiritual obligations, and therefore feared that people had broken our quick. Our hosts allayed our fears. Another vegetarian dishes furthermore tasted excellent. We yarned till closing period about our times at the University Medical center Kuala Lumpur, hawaii of medical schooling and present ethics of clinical practise in the united kingdom.

I "discovered" this location the prior evening when We was dinning on the outdoor at What the Duck nearby and kept seeing huge groups of Chinese moving in and considered to myself, "that location will need to have good Chinese foods." In fact, it has Astounding Chinesefood. Unfortunately these were from the satay however the waitress recommended the Spicy Fillet Tofu that was incredible and I also acquired the Brocolli and Monkey Mind Mushrooms that have been delightful and a little whitened rice, The sauce for the Tofu was ideal and texture excellent. Possibly the only factor that wasn't ideal was the tea since it was a little sweet for me personally, but otherwise I must admit, I'm thinking about going back once again for the satay. The area is quite casual and helpful and the support was extremely swift and friendly. Although they say they're vegetarian, they had seafood and pork on the menus, so while that is clearly a bit confusing if you ask me, it isn't really issue for me personally as I'm not really vegetarian, nonetheless it may be for a lot of who are.
