Great service and great food. Got the Caprese salad and mozzarella had been amazing. Also got the mushrooms ravioli and has been quite impressed with it. Great size, plenty of mushrooms and tasty creamy sauce. Includes a terrace by the drinking water.

WE arrived to the noisy restaurant. You teenagers and families with young kids. Although know because of their pizzas, we chosen full Italian foods. Appetizers were okay, the duck carpaccio had been excellent but a touch too solid, the tuna was excellent. The primary courseof mushroom ravioli has been to die for. My partner asked for a little bit of truffle essential oil to complement also it was instantly added. Wow, it weighed against exactly the same dish at Bacchus in St. Martin. My poultry saltimbanco or something similar to that was a little spicy, but additionally excellent.. Also the pino grigio & chianti were much better than expected

Right now our regular location for Italian foods. Amazing do-it-yourself pasta and flawlessly cooked risotto's. Haven't attempted the wooden fired pizza's yet however they look tasty as well. Only thing missing may be the "Spritz" for pre-supper drinks. As the service is effective missing that Italianflair.....

Base of pizza has been thin n crispy however the Diavoli topping has been completely tasteless. Seafood pasta alio olio is watery with almost no essential olive oil or garlic. Never trust a eating place having an extensive menu...provide this restaruant the miss unless the bland insipid food isyour thing.

Spasso opened in the first times of the Straits Quay growth and though over fifty percent the eateries now there have since floundered and closed lower it has survived and continues to be a recommendable spot to have an Italian dinner. Our last recent go to there withfriends was an extremely agreeable experience. The decoration is easy, airy and unfussy, light is gentle and the sitting comfy. We shared several starters, some of that have been superb (fried ravioli with mushrooms, amongst others) and then purchased a pizza which arrived sharp and baked to perfection. Not the cheapest invest town by way of a long photo (the exorbitant rents that stores need to pay at the Straits Quay ensure it is impossible and unrealistic to anticipate inexpensive meals) however the well prepared meals we'd made it really worth it. Corkage will be charged and service is quite friendly and efficient.

Do not purchase the Parmigiana! I has been served an extremely oily tomato soup. The oil had NEVER been near an olive tree. Given the quantity of oil I believe the cheese had been ‘left-handed’ that is extra fat flavoured and coloured. I asked for loaf of bread, surely nothard within an Italian cafe, finally I was presented with something like brioche, 1 slice partly defrosted another still frozen. Staff tried very difficult, we forgave them for pouring champagne on to the floor. Spasso had an insurance plan of not charging in the event that you brought your personal wine. They appear to have transformed this without informing us but happily starting the bottles. Our Chinese friends appeared to take pleasure in, they thought these were eating real Italian meals!!M!

We came with several buddies who lived locally and brought our very own wine. Good idea. Situated in Straights Quay, that is worth a trip as there exists a lot of life within the evenings, stores and costly yachts moored within the marina. HealyMacs, the Irish Bar, nearby! Superb pizzas with a sharp thin crust cooked inside a wood burning up oven. I would recommend to choose mushroom and basic toppings because the meat is not really so good and, needless to say, no pork. Poultry Hawaiian looked OK. Pasta is freshly made and then time I will try out pasta with clams/vongole. Main dishes were restricted. No veal on the menus and to me an important on an Italian cafe menu. Have never noticed veal in a Malaysian eating place and assume none available My partner had foie gras that was good. Beef Carpaccio furthermore good. Could reap the benefits of an Italian chef! Atmosphere pleasant. Would provide it another go.

Came with my boy and his loved ones to the restaurant. We weren't disappointed! Excellent wood-owen baked pizza! For dessert; ice lotion and chocolate lava cake. Everything really was good and tasty. They also treated the kids as guests, rather than as a nuisance. Highlyrecommended and we'll be back!
