Tucked in a part street close to the bus station, all of us ate here three times on a latest stop by at Tanjung Bungah. It is very clear and has a big menu covering not merely seafoods but other meats and vegie dishes. Each is cooked fresh toorder, therefore if it has sold-out - you lose out! Everything was great, however the highlight were the slow cooked pigs trotters. Service was fast and efficient also it was excellent value. We ate at Tek Sen in George City later in our vacation and Siang Pin provides 90% of the knowledge at 50% of the price.

My older parents enjoyed their previous meal at Siang Pin restaurant opposing the Tg Bungah bus depot and needed me to use this new place. We ordered several dishes - bittergourd heavy fried with salted egg**, crispy pork trotter, spinach inside better soup andseafood treasures inside hollowed-out pumpkin. The bittergourd dish was the initial dish my mother called out since she liked it from previous visit. I noticed her order clearly. The girl in specifications taking our orders questioned if the bittergourd dish has been egg half dried out/wet. Not knowing the way the ready this dish, I held quiet. When the bittergourd exact same stir-fried with quite a few watery egg (not really salted egg actually) omelette, instantly we knew something was wrong We tried to speak to their staff concerning the wrong purchase but nobody dared to entertain our protest. It appear that the LADY may be the boss. She found our desk and she epitomized poor customer support in how she managed our problems - she claimed never to have noticed the explanation bittergourd deep-fried in salted egg. She insisted that people take the incorrect dish. When we continuing to grumbled, she swung by our desk and took apart the incorrect dish but stated that she'll NOT replace it with the salted egg edition that my mother had so anticipate. In a nutshell, I've not seen like unprofessional service. To put it simply she refused to acknowledge her mistake - bittergourd strong fried in salted egg batter vs bittergourd mix fried in runny egg omelette!! My mother said that she mentioned sorry at the transaction counter. I retorted that whatever for; she spoilt our supper because of her ego. If you want this place, please place to the menus items once you order. Or check the purchase chit after she surface finish recording your orders.. Attached is really a photo of the dish seafood treasures within hollowed pumpkin. Admittedly it had been great. It was the initial dish served. An excellent start to meals that ended therefore bitter for us.

It's only best for ppl surviving in this area since it is really a convenient place. Usually do not purposely walk out ur way dine right here. Average food. Bittergourd inside egg is great, the benchmark being House Style from Gurney/Casa Permai. Yet House Style provides reducedtremendously their bittergourd in this dish, whereas Siang Pin's has a lot more in it. Petai is nice, as well. Fried rice is typical. Service is fast, because they use ruthless gas .

We dined many times at this wonderful loved ones owned company during our recent visit to Penang. Excellent assistance, food & environment. Entrees included: Nice & Sour Pork, Lovely & Sour Poultry, Singapore Bee Hoon, Environment friendly Beans with Key Mushrooms, Mix Fried Prawns with Cashews, ChickenMarmite. We have been happy with all options. Lime juice & a little assortment of brews curved off the menus for all of us: Guinness Stout, Tiger & Carlsberg. Great spot & we will return whenever we return.

This friendly neighborhood Chinese cafe is directly opposite the Tanjong Bungah Bus Depot. The employees are helpful and the meals is good rather than too pricey. The lunch time sets are a strike with my kids specifically the BBQ pork rice fixed. Their belacan (prawn paste)poultry wings is a popular with the household and essential on our party menus. It is extremely well received by children at our celebrations and we always go out.
