Roast meat has gone out of share during Sunday lunch time. Noodles takes permanently to prepare yourself... estimated waiting period is about 45mins. Usually do not expect services with a smile as of this establishment. It is a sorry excuse in comparison with the main one in Changi, Singapore. Iam surprised the ranking on website is great... Plenty of my friends acquired poor experiences here too.

Our first go to on Labour Time. We started earlier, before noon, and by 12:30 pm, this location was loaded and resembled a battle zone with service personnel hard pressed to react to customer's demands. Still, the meals was served in fine period and the staffwere responsive. The roast pork noodle was good, and helping of char-siew (roast pork) was very generous. The tang-chye congee (combination of duck meats, peanuts and pork epidermis) had been abit of a disappointed. It had been no where near good Cantonese congee since it had not been cooked in an excellent broth and the rice grains weren't finely cooked. The primary dish...Peking Duck - proved well. Your skin for wrapping the duck meats and condiments had been moist and chewy, and the accompanying lovely sauce was excellent, too. Price-wise, I think that.It really is comparable and competitive to additional Chinese dining places at Guerney. But, I believe their portions served tend to be more generous. In addition, this restaurant offers free of charge "lye-tong" (Cantonese for home soup of your day), that was delicious. And, dark jelly for dessert - f.o.c. aswell. I will return....

I'm usually weary of duck meals as the ones that aren't done well leave me sensation gamilly-nauseated and totally disappointed. So imagine my overall surprise when I in fact tasted duck breasts that has been juicy, topped with crispy pores and skin! My mom and I wentto Gurney Plaza for a few shopping and occurred upon 'The London Duck', therefore we wandered into this stylishly clear but mega BUSY eating place. Our order had been their Duck Rice arranged meal, that was really financial and pleasantly tasty: a pleasant soup starter, small helping of steamed tofu, yummy Duck Rice, completed off with Dark Jelly dessert, which was included with a pleasant herbal drink. I've heard many complain concerning the un-smiling staff - nicely the staff has been rushed off their foot because of the mad lunch hurry, plus some observably rude and challenging customers, However they were wonderful to my mom and I that i really appreciate. We're able to see them functioning as fast the prepare could plate the laundry so we didn't mind needing to wait a small for the food. After going right through the menus we plan to go back because of their Roast Peking Duck with Pancakes!
