A very old college teochew porridge in Bukit Mertajam for a lot more than 40 yr old. So far as I could recall their old store along Jalan Aston provides be demolished to provide ways to development a long time back. I've never find it once again and thought they will have close completely. I accidentally discovered it today through goggle map while examining for some food for this region and I immediately understand from the photos of the meals that being reveal by others.They still served good selection of ready cook foods "Teochew" style like days past. It's inexpensive but definitely delicious and satisfying. We'd teochew braised duck, 2 braised tofu, fried whitebait, French bean and 2 plate of porridge. We also got 1 glasse of Ice Chinese tea and organic tea beverages. Glad to rediscover another older school eatery.
