They will have three soup base for steamboat: 1) Tom Yam soup 2) herbal soup and 3) chicken soup. We ordered organic and poultry soup. Both are delicious and we usually do not experience thirsty after drinking that. For three grownups and 3 children, we order four"mind" or portion and price RM88. Abundant of vegetables, received but zero mushroom though. A bowl of chicken meat, 4 big prawns and seafood meat. Another bowl of meats items like balls, cheese tofu and etc. 2 Electronic- Fu noodles, some vermicelli and 4 eggs in a plate. Charcoal fire had not been strong sufficient for ours and get quite a while to boil the soup. However, it appears other tables don't have exactly the same issue as us. This is among those restaurants which have been in Cameron Highland for very long time and appeal to tourists. The shop, home furniture and utensils are usually dated. Workers you can find friendly and fast to response. General, a joyful eating expertise despite we've three young kids.

Its my 4th time in cameron highland. I've visited virtually all the charcoal steamboat in brinchang. I'd say this restaurant acts below average ingredients in comparison with its competitor. On weekends, the purchase price went higher too.

We finished up at Mountain Home Charcoal Steamboat Restaurant like their neigbour & competitor Kwan Kee Steamboat Cafe was closed. Furthermore the initial charcoal steamboat pot which were of all tables attracted us in. We made a decision to purchase ala carte for the steamboat elements aswe preferred to consume what we wished to eat instead of being given foods randomly predicated on per mind count. Happy we did that once we had better high quality & quantity of the things ordered. After our purchase the wait personnel put a gas managed stove on our desk. We asked you will want to the charcoal steamboat pot? Back again emerged the reply that it could cost MR10 for the usage of the charcoal pot and in addition it will be slower to make the meals. Of course we have been willing to pay in the end we have been tourists right?? Yes, certainly we need to wait much longer for the soup bottom to boil & for the meals to get cook. However the experience cut back old remembrances of our kid hood days whenever we utilized those charcoal steamboat pot as well. So an unique knowledge almost got forfeited. Supper wasn't cheap either.

Shocking. We were seated next to a desk of party of 4 adults. They complained to the server/hostess that to cover RM100 for less-than-expectation part of food isn't right. After obtaining the server/hostess for the next period, the hostess went to thetable to state "We don't wish to accomplish your business. It is possible to leave. Just purchase the drinks consumed." We were shocked. In the current F&B settings, it's Unusual for the server or hostess to utter like words, lest to keep to provide below- par service . The only real reason the cafe tables are stuffed could be as the hostess promotes the menus. Showing you the portion, here's ours (for just two people RM50, Chinese New Year 20% raise?!)

We love the steamboat here. It's amazing. The soup is tasty, and you won't obtain thirsty after your food here. My kids like their Fried Rice right here. My kids is quite picky on meals. They only consume the fried rice right here. P/s: That is avegetarian friendly eating place too. You just have to inform the boss you're a Vegetarian, and they'll cater their foods for you.

It was previously really crowded and delicious a couple of years back, but this time around we were extremely disappointed with the steamboat and the laundry we ordered tonight. The steamboat soup was quite oily, plus they were really dishonest restaurant. We ordered asparagus, and theyserved coffee beans, when we asked what's this? the servant mentioned it’s Bean Asparagus (I never heard like ridiculous excuse where asparagus is enough at Cameron highland) The fish head was terrible, we can not eat it. Prawn petai, you merely can easily see 5 prawns maybe, different then the pictures. They really overcharged too, so it’s complete bad encounter for our dinner. Never again, and today we've warned you. Not recommended.

we used to dine here a long time ago . The area was always crowded . It had been good taste and reasonable price. Now the food had not been an excellent taste especially the seafood head curry .. With the price greater than the majority of other goodrestaurant , no question the area is quite empty ..

The restaurant was instead busy when we attained about 6pm . Service had not been too poor but waiters instead inexperience although quite useful. The charcoal steamboat (with an extended funnel in the centre) arrived and we get yourself a choice of 2 forms of soup.We chosen poultry soup and tom yam. Both were pretty typical. Items that went in to the steamboat were clean . The waiter forgot our beverages as the store was loaded to the rim! Various other tables brought their very own booze and had been enjoying their drinks instead loudly. At about 8.30pm ,the cafe had to close store because they ran out of ingredients! There is a queue if about 15 individuals waiting to obtain in. Overall, we compensated RM60 for just two 2 pax that is very sensible for the quantity of food we ate.
